Had to share this one from a Steelers forum and from the OP who is not exactly a newbie there......I am not sure anyone in here can beat this one for Bizarre Post of the 2010 NFL season

I don't remember anything like this posted here after SB 42

Scout.com: The Steelers needed to lose the Super Bowl.

Re: OT: And some here think some of OUR posts are bizarre

if i were looking for intelligent conversation, my first thought would not be to look for it on a steelers board.

I tried to run that post through Google Translate, but neither it nor I could figure out what language it was in.

I think you need to drink some of this for it to make sense:

Funny but I don't remember anyone saying 'thank God we lost the Super Bowl, now Brady and his Patriots can get angry and steamroll his career to multiple championships,we needed that loss'

Its unbelievable of some of the trash that is not only thought of in a persons brain, but actually TYPED in a forum....thankfully the guys that right these types of posts are not known by the other members or I can see some severe physical taunting if it were in person.

Heh, the response is 50/50 in support of the idea. There you go, I guess.

7:56 PM on a Thursday night is a little early for a guy to be drunk enough to type that dribble, don't you think?

Yeah. Like losing SB in 95 wasn't enough.

I've got to assume he has only been watching the steelers since 05 and is a young kid.

I knew what it felt like as a fan to lose 2 before they won their first one. It never feels good and serves no purpose

The losses to the Bears in '85 and the Packers in '96 is solely responsible for the 3 SB's won in '01, '03, & '04. Now, just imagine what we'll be rewarded for because of the monumental loss in '07. The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.

Makes one wonder what might have been if they lost SB 36, 38 and 39. Yahtzee!

Sadly, I clicked on that. It's not just how dumb the premise is--you can sometimes make an argument that an early playoff loss might spur a team to do bigger & better things, but the freakin' Super Bowl is the freakin' Super Bowl, you're THERE already!--but the sheer incoherence of something like that is scary, because the dude has like 30,000 posts I think. So much time on such worthless stuff.

I don't know how Bills and Viking maintain there sanity.

They don't

Have you been to the cities of Buffalo,NY and Minneapolis,Minnesota?

Just see the aura of those people...you will know what I mean.

Any good mental health professional will tell you that the post reflects the third stage of the grieving process: Denial, Anger, Saying Really Dumb Things, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.

Come to think of it, using the reasoning from the forum post the Bills should have gone 19-0 after losing their fourth straight Super Bowl.
