Scout.com have finally started to rank their 2011 players (sort of)

They are ranking their top 45 for now then going alphabetical by the star ratings of the other players. They should start filling in these soon, perhaps after the Combine.

No Cameron Jordan? Suprised. No Pouncey? Not suprised considering some of the lack of interest on this board. They have Adrian Clayborn at #6. That is the 2nd time I've seen him at the that range.

The list includes Crick, so I have to wonder how current this is.

I find it funny that if you click on 2010, they have 57 players rated 5-stars.

Jordan is 10th ranked DE. Just clink on position rahter than overall.

Clearly a work in progress. Position rankings go a little further. Overall rankings 5 star vs 4 etc just too broad for me.

For the last 5 years, I've found their rankings to be the best [in terms of searchability]. I look forward to Scout.com's list every year, but NFP.com/Wes Bunting is growing on me because [as he did last year] he explains which players are 3-4 players and 4-3 players.

Not having cam Jordan on that list at all is a joke. Pouncey is prob one of the top 3 interior OL in the entire draft.

C'mon man!

OK, you say that Pouncey is the #3 interior lineman in the WHOLE draft. And, you complain because Scout has rated Pouncey ahead of all but 2 interior linemen in the WHOLE draft.

Since they agree with you, and given your quality of analysis, I too now wonder about the quality fo their assessment.

Probably the only reason I like Drafttek. They rank 3-4 OLBs and 4-3 OLBs separately. They may have the same guy ranked on both their 3-4 OLB list and their 4-3 DE list with a different ranking for each position. I may not always agree with them, but it adds some context.

The question I have with Scout.com is that, after the complete rankings list is first posted,
is that list ever updated?
Unlike most - if not all - of the other online rankings, Scout.com never shows the date
on which their rankings are based. Do they not take the results of the Combine or of the Pro Days
into account? Just wondering.

Funny you noted that. At first I was excited that they had as many as 21 5 start guys, but I guess Scouts.com agrees with the current wisdom that there aren't as many high end players this year than last. That doesn't bode well for #28 or #33, but it pretty much ensures that we get at least one 5 star player this year.

ummmm.......clayborn and heyward top 10???

I'll give it big fat FAIL
