It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Traffic is a touch nasty in Arlington (unless you're one of the media members amid the police escort that fans erroneously stare at anyway) because of the Super Bowl. And thanks to the dangerous weather and ice that took over Cowboys Stadium this week, things will get worse, because four of the 10 gates leading into the stadium are closed.
That's according to the Associated Press, and confirmed by NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, who notes (via WFAA) that the league is working with Arlington Fire Department to "safely direct fans into the building."
If you're headed to Gates B, D, G or J, make a break for another one of the six entrances, because those spots are all shut down at the moment, and the lines are only getting longer as fans pile up waiting and then trying to get into the stadium.
At the moment, things are fairly calm inside the stadium -- outside though, things are pretty hectic, with a slew of Arlington residents tailgaiting and an unbelievable amount of jersey-clad Steelers and Packers fans streaming through the streets.
Today really blows...............oh what coulda and shoulda been - SIGH.
I am in beautiful Aruba (OK, things could be worse for me).
Bet the over, I bet the pack and made the most outrageous bet of all - if either team kicks a field goal in the 1st quarter - I win - LOL.
It just sucks - I hate the Squeelers and the Packers, squeelers more than the pack, so go pack.
Man oh man - come on BB & Brady & Co - we gotta get back to this show.
I've picked out a couple of good movies to watch tonight. This will probably be the first time since the 1970's that I don't watch the Super Bowl. Try as I might, I just can't summon up any interest in this thing.
I'll try watching the start of the game, but I could be watching a movie and doing some work before the first quarter is even over.
Well, we have some answers from the NFL following the latest round of Seat-Gate.
The league says 1,250 fans were affected. The NFL and Cowboys were able to relocate 850 of them to “similar or better seats.” 400 of them will be denied seats.
400 fans are getting screwed out of their seats.
