Wrecks-a-toe-holic has already claimed this year's Super Bowl...guaranteed

More issues at the stadium. Jerry Jones' big dream is turning into a nightmare.

4 of 10 gates closed at Cowboys Stadium - CBSSports.com

Traffic is a touch nasty in Arlington (unless you're one of the media members amid the police escort that fans erroneously stare at anyway) because of the Super Bowl. And thanks to the dangerous weather and ice that took over Cowboys Stadium this week, things will get worse, because four of the 10 gates leading into the stadium are closed.

That's according to the Associated Press, and confirmed by NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, who notes (via WFAA) that the league is working with Arlington Fire Department to "safely direct fans into the building."

If you're headed to Gates B, D, G or J, make a break for another one of the six entrances, because those spots are all shut down at the moment, and the lines are only getting longer as fans pile up waiting and then trying to get into the stadium.

At the moment, things are fairly calm inside the stadium -- outside though, things are pretty hectic, with a slew of Arlington residents tailgaiting and an unbelievable amount of jersey-clad Steelers and Packers fans streaming through the streets.

Today really blows...............oh what coulda and shoulda been - SIGH.

I am in beautiful Aruba (OK, things could be worse for me).

Bet the over, I bet the pack and made the most outrageous bet of all - if either team kicks a field goal in the 1st quarter - I win - LOL.

It just sucks - I hate the Squeelers and the Packers, squeelers more than the pack, so go pack.

Man oh man - come on BB & Brady & Co - we gotta get back to this show.

Skip the pre-game blathering and go find Natalie Holloway!

Pretty good vid appeared this week of a large amount of ice falling off the dome.
YouTube - Snow, Ice Fall From Super Bowl Dome

I would like to be a fly on the wall when Jones speaks with the architects about his stadium failing to deal with ice.

For 1.3 billion, you really should have thought of that, guys.
In fact, starting from scratch, anytime, this should be a
consideration, I would think?

More fun for Jerry's kids:
Failure to complete temporary seating leaves some ticket holders out in the cold | ProFootballTalk

“There are a limited number of sections in temporary seating areas inside the stadium that have not been fully completed,” the statement reads. “We are working to resolve the matter and expect that by game time most of the fans affected will have been accommodated in their seats or relocated to similar or better seats.

“Those fans that are affected by this will be directed to the Party Plaza area while the matter is resolved.

“Fans who are not accommodated with seats inside the stadium will each receive a refund of triple the cost of the face value of their ticket.

“We regret the situation.”

Hilarious! These comic disasters of monumental proportions could not happen to a more deserving owner. My bad, forgot about Snyder & Woody Johnson for a moment.

I've picked out a couple of good movies to watch tonight. This will probably be the first time since the 1970's that I don't watch the Super Bowl. Try as I might, I just can't summon up any interest in this thing.

I'll try watching the start of the game, but I could be watching a movie and doing some work before the first quarter is even over.

I've pretty much avoided anything SB related this week as I had no interest in it at all. However, I will be watching the game hoping for a Steelers defeat. Plus I love the NFL and would watch regardless...even if hell freezes over and the Jest got to the big game.

Okay, so this could have a happy ending?
The roof could fall in.
As long as nobody gets hurt, I think that would work for me.

Dallas Fire Marshall deems some temporary seats unsafe | ProFootballTalk

Five sections of temporary seats at Cowboys Stadium have been deemed unsafe to use on Super Bowl Sunday, according to a report from Chris Myers of FOX...

...Myers reported 1,000 fans would not have a seat.

Fans furious over Super Bowl temporary seating screw-up
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...s-over-super-bowl-temporary-seating-screw-up/

“I just found out when I got here two minutes ago,” said Michael Noble, a Steelers season ticket holder from Eerie, Pennsylvania, who planned a special trip to Dallas when his team won the AFC Championship Game.

Noble, who was holding a ticket with a $900 face value, wanted to be inside the stadium watching the Steelers warm up, but he’s currently stuck outside, with no guarantee that he’ll get in.

“They’re going to make me stand in a long line for nothing,” he said.

400 fans are getting screwed out of their seats.

NFL: 400 fans will be denied seats | ProFootballTalk

That is awful. Can you imagine traveling all that way to watch your team play in the biggest game of the season, only to be denied entry because they couldn't finish construction on the seats? There's simply no excuse for this. Jerry Jones should give up his suite to assist some of them.

And considering how awful the Cowboys were this season, they could have moved the team to some junior high field after week 6 when they were out of contention and finished the Super Bowl preparations. They weren't fit to play on an NFL field anyways.

Fatboy Slim and 2 unlimited for the entrance songs.
Glee singer does America the beautiful.
Black eyed peas at halftime.
I'm definitely going to vomit at some point tonight

LOL @ Rodgers face expression during ATB

The players were like, "Can you stop singing?" when the Glee girl was going on and on.

I don't think so. You mean she skipped a verse?

EDITED: Don't remember hearing "O'er the ramparts we watched..."

It is supposed to be a collective thing, not abouit them.
That is why I find it so cringingly bad.
That, and it usually is cringingly bad.
