When will it end for this clown?

I am SO glad the Pats did not acquire this guy, like a certain group of people here were clamoring for the Pats to do.

Fairfax County police spokeswoman Shelley Broderick says a 38-year-old man told investigators he was driving a Honda Civic in suburban Washington when he saw a pickup truck tailgating him. The man says the driver then made a hand gesture.

Broderick says Haynesworth, who was driving the truck, got out when the vehicles stopped and assaulted the other driver.

How about we wait until some more information comes out before passing judgement?

Albert Haynesworth's Agent Denies His Client Committed Assault

Albert Haynesworth's agent has released a statement denying that his client committed assault in an alleged incident stemming from a road rage situation in Fairfax last Wednesday. Chad Speck sent out a release saying that Haynesworth will cooperate with authorities, but did not assault anyone.

"This man, who actually provoked the situation himself, recognized Albert and is now simply trying to turn it into his 15 minutes of fame and get, we can only assume, some money. Albert did not assault this man and looks forward to his day in court to refute these ridiculous allegations."

The incident allegedly occurred at 9:16 a.m. on Wednesday morning. According to a Fairfax County police report, Haynesworth was tailgating a 38-year old man's Honda Civic in his truck. The man made a hand gesture to Haynesworth, before the two stopped at a red light. Both got out of the car, when Haynesworth allegedly struck the driver, who had gotten back into his car by this point.

Speck said that Haynesworth will turn himself in once he gets back into the area. The Redskins said they were "gathering information," but would have no further comment.

You have to be unlucky to have a vehicular altercation with a man and finding out it was a huge NFL Defensive lineman coming up to your car from behind

Did he stomp the guy in the head;);)

Well Albert is a jackass none the less but the OP was a bit smug about how this unsubstantiated incident proved everyone who wanted him wrong.
So you think the Pats should have acquired him?

Sincerely,
Mr. Smug

Not particularly since the Pats have Wilfork and play a 3-4 but I also don't see how this story validates the argument one way or the other. Or do you not remember the Randy Moss "assault" story from 2007?

Unlucky? Are you kidding? In this economy having Albert Haynesworth stomp on my head would be a blessing. Now this guy can relieve him of some of the ill got signing bonus.

I had 2nd row seats to watch the Redskins and while Haynesworth dogs it 60% of the time...when he decides it is time to get to the QB, he does it at will.

I wish we could sign him at a $250K base but $1,000,000/sack in cash (Jonathan Kraft waiting with briefcase in hand on the sideline).
We'd be paying $15M but would get that pass rusher we've been longing for!

He's a turd, but in an altercation with a normal human I doubt the guys head would still be on hi neck.

Sounds like you need you're diaper changed.

Albert Haynesworth case dismissed

A northern Virginia judge has dismissed a road-rage assault charge against Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth after the player reached an agreement with the alleged victim.

Under Virginia law, a judge can dismiss misdemeanor assaults under a provision called "accord and satisfaction," in which a victim says he has been made whole, usually by a financial payment.
