Lets' start the annual series of draft games.Don't worry about looking foolish, I do it for a living and am still standing.

So here's how it will work this time.

Using the list below, make your Patriots picks. For picks 17,28,& 33 you can choose a player ranked no more than 3 slots ahead (#17 you can go up to #14 but no higher and so on and so forth) After those picks you can go up 5 places but no higher.

NFL Draft - 2011 Draft Prospects - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

Here are the Patriots picks as of now:17,28,33,60,74,92,123,156,&184

After you have made those picks, you can do trades as long as they make sense using the trade value board.

The Huddle Report - NFL Draft Research and Analysis

NO MOCKING ANYONE'S MOCK UNTIL YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR MOCK SO IT CAN BE EQUALLY MOCKED.

There are no winners or losers unless you are a Jets fan. this is just to see where the thinking is for players at this time.

First try for this year:

#17 Nate Solder 6'8 314lbs OT Colorado
#28 Cameron Jordan 6'4 287lbs DE Cal
#33 Mike Pouncey 6'4 310lbs OG Florida
#49 Jeremey Beal 6'2 268lbs OLB Oklahoma
#74 Orlando Franklin 6'7 315lbs OG Miami (FL)
#123 Austin Pettis 6'3 205lbs WR Boise State
#156 Martin Parker 6'2 300lbs DE Richmond
#184 Wayne Daniels 6'2 250LBS OLB TCU

60 & 92 traded for #49

With the guards drafted, a change of style on the O line going for a more physical down field style instead of the zone blocking, a tall WR and a couple of defensive linemen and outside linebackers.

EDIT: Just noticed do the trades AFTER the picks, I'll do 60 & 92 later then.

Hey, we got 3 picks the same.

#17 Ryan Kerrigan, OLB Purdue
#28 Cam Jordon, DE Cal
#33 Mike Pouncey, G Fla
#60 Randall Cobb, WR.RB,PR Kentucky -our Percy Harvin
#74 Daniel Thomas, RB Kanas State
#92 Sam Acho, OLB/DE Texas
#124 Austin Pettis, WR Boise
#156 John Clay, RB Wisconsin
#184 James Brewer, OT Indiana

I'll think about trades tomorrow.

17 - DE JJ Watt, Wisconsin*

28 - OLB Justin Houston, Georgia

33 - OT Demarcus Love, Arkansas*

60 - FS Rahim Moore, UCLA

74 - RB Delone Carter, Syracuse*

92 - WR Titus Young, Boise St.

123 - OLB Brooks Reed, Arizona

156 - LB Casey Matthews, Oregon

184 - CB Marcus Gilchrist, Clemson

guys with an * means with hopefully a small trade down. Although I'm not going to try to work out the trade point details. I would have loved to get Carimi instead of Love at 33, but Carimi was one spot too high and I didn't want to sacrifice Reed for the trade up.

It kills me I couldn't get an interior OL I liked. But I couldn't make it work with that ranking chart.

I would be completely shocked if BB actually took three players with the first three picks although i think this is the year to cash in on the top picks

I was thinking the same for the first three picks

#17 Ryan Kerrigan, OLB Purdue
#28 Cam Jordon, DE Cal
#33 Mike Pouncey, OG Florida
#60 Ahmad Black, SS Florida

Two DEs, Two 3-4 OLBs, Two G/Cs a RT and a WR that can beat a press at the LOS. And a RB that can run and catch.

17) Ryan Kerrigan, Purdue
28) Mike Pouncey, Forida
33) Phillip Taylor, Baylor
60) Rahim Moore, UCLA
74) Leonard Hankerson, U
92) Chimdi Chekwa, Ohio State

156) Derick Newton, Arkansas State OT

60. Muhammad Wilkerson
74. Leonard Hankerson
92. Sam Acho
123. Greg Romeus
156. Greg McElroy
184. Marcus Gilchrist

a little heavy on the D-line, but that would be a lot of talent.

Okay, I'll take a stab. This is only straight up. It would change if I could make a couple trades, but It's not clear to me from the OP at what point that's "legal".

17 - Watt - RDE
28 - Carimi - RT (Vollmer moves to LT)
33 - Jimmy Smith - CB/FS (eventual replacement for Meriweather)
60 - Watkins - OG (that's where he'll play)
74 - Daniel Thomas - RB
92 - Pierre Allen - DE/OLB*
123 - Brooks Reed - OLB*
156 - Justin Rogers - CB (slot)
184 - Lee Smith TE (blocker, eventual replacement for Crumpler)

* could do better for OLB with a couple trades, though these could pan out

33. Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida
60. Jaiquawn Jarrett, FS, Temple
74. KJ Wright, LB, Mississippi State

74. Ras-I Dowling, FS
92. Kenrick Ellis, DE/NT
123. Bilal Powell, RB
156. Cliff Matthews, OLB

17 Cameron Jordan
28 Houston
33 Wiesnewski
60 Murray
74 Ballard
92 Acho
123 greg Little
156 Ziemba
184 Fulco

Two DEs, Two 3-4 OLBs, Two G/Cs a RT and a WR that can beat a press at the LOS. And a RB that can run and catch.

wow brother, we think alot like or c the world the same in football...nice mock and very realistic..

#17 Ryan Kerrigan, OLB/DE Purdue
#28 Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
#33 Muhammad Wilkerson, DL Temple
#60 Danny Watkins, OG Baylor
#74 Ras-I Dowling, DB Virginia
#92 Titus Young, WR Boise State
#124 Bilal Powell, RB, Louisville
#156 Jake Kirkpatrick, C TCU
#184 Derrick Locke, RB Kentucky

If I may mock my own mock...I'm very happy with this AFTER the first round. (I'm seeing Dowling as a FS, btw way.) Kerrigan and Carimi were the two I felt squeamish about.

FA will change the value of each position, but based on today's current needs

#17 Mark Ingram RB Alabama - Ingram would complement BGJE nicely
#28 Justin Houston OLB Georgia - We need a pass rusher, but I doubt it will happen
#33 Stefen Wisniewski C Penn State - OL is going through some big change. This guy can play all positions inside
#60 Danny Watkins OG Baylor - more quality depth at OL
#74 Marcus Cannon OT TCU - I dont like this pick, but it's good value :)
#92 Tyler Sash SS Iowa - Tyler can replace McGowan
#124 Stanley Havili FB Southern California - versatile FB? sign the beast!
#156 Martin Parker DT Richmond - sure why not
#184 DeAndre Brown WR Southern Mississippi - nice big target that Brady likes

17. Aldon Smith, OLB
28. JJ Watt, DE
33. Mike Pouncey, OG
60. Daniel Thomas, RB
74. Titus Young, WR
92. Chimdi Chekwa, CB
123. Casey Matthews, LB
156. Ricky Stanzi, QB, Iowa
184. James Brewer, OT

Without trades:

17) OLB Ryan Kerrigan
28) DE Cameron Jordan
33) C/G Mike Pouncey
60) S Rahim Moore
74) RB Shane Vereen
92) OT Joseph Barksdale
123) G John Moffitt
156) QB Ricky Stanzi
184) TE Kyle Adams

Biggest needs filled early. Three O linemen to completely rejuvenate the crew.

With trades I'm moving 1b, 2b and 3a (28, 60, 74) to move up to #14 overall.

14) OLB Aldon Smith
17) RB Mark Ingram
33) DE Phil Taylor
92) OG David Arkin
123) QB Ricky Stanzi
156) S Shiloh Keo
184) OG Justin Boren

Aldon Smith is the highest rated on my Pats board. Way too difficult to find that combo of speed and size at LB. Ingram is the only draftable player who I think could significantly improve our offense next season. Taylor is a large DE like GWarren, but seems to have the agility to play the position for us. Weak group of O linemen, so we wait until later on to address the interior.

my list of fav prospects and players i think we should target...sherrod, carimi, wisnieski, cameron jordan, corey liuget, muhammad wilkerson, demarco murray, mark ingram, aaron williams, brandon harris, jimmy smith, kendricks/rudolph, deandre mcdaniel, danny watkins, maybe pouncey, hankerson, tolliver, torrey smith, justin houston, kerrigan, aldon smith, maybe jeremy beal, havili in later rounds...i have confidence our first 3 pix are one of these names....:D

74) Daniel Thomas RB Kansas State

Trading Picks 17, 60 and 92 to Dallas for 9 and 140. The players selected all fill holes that Dallas need on their OL/DL.

After Trading Final Mock Draft
9) Marcell Dareus DT/DE Alabama - 5-Tech RDE
28) Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin - Nasty RT of future. Vollmer moves to LT.
33) Jimmy Smith CB Colorado - CB to pair with McCourty/Bodden has upside. Solid Press Corner.

This is my "wet dream" draft.... well done, whiZ. addresses all glaring needs. I just doubt BB goes RB at #17 though.
