Is the roster 54?

I look at the roster on the patriots website and I see 54 players. Am I missing something or does someone need to be released?

Where are you counting the roster from//where on the website?? They have 53 on the roster..and cutrrewntly 7 on the PSqd..

The 53-man roster is at 53 players. The practice squad is at 7 players, but will likely be filled once Spann is re-signed to it. Never trust the Patriots.com roster.

How could they forget Gene, Gene the dancin machine?

It will be interesting on whether or not Pass displaces Evans on the 53. He is not the most liked Pats player from a coacing stand point ever since he dropped the ball to grab his hammy last year.
