Ryan gets another shot in at Pats

Whatever. Kiss the rings.

He should worry about fixing his roster. His team is going to have holes everywhere next year. They won't be winning the division or backing into the playoffs next year. They mortgaged their draft future with Cromartie and Holmes on rental deals. They have 36 guys set to make 99mil on their cap next year. They have 25 other guys who are free agents, some of them more than contributors. He came in and chose to take the mercenary approach. Obviously the regime does'nt have the patients or the inclination for the draft. Their run is over.......

It's the great shame of the patriots that the team couldn't beat this guy.

Is there any news as to why brady seemed to shell shocked?

BB must be eating himself alive b/c of this jerk.

There's a possibility that if the pats blew them out...rex would have been fired.

I live in NYC.

There are plenty of signs today among Jets fans whom I know and in the NY media that Rex has played out his string when it comes to his talking.

Jets fans might generally exist in a drunken stupor, but they're not stupid. They know what three rings in four years and four trips to the big game in seven years mean. They know that Ryan and his talk and the Sanchize are nowhere close to those accomplishments. They know that Rex and Mark haven't even touched what the Levy and Kelly and the "0 for 4" Bills accomplished.

Bottom line: Ryan won't be able to get by on talk next year. If the tabloid mediots and the beer-soaked fanbase don't think he's going to deliver a championship, he's toast. And, their patience with Sanchez won't last much longer. They're smart enough to know that Brady won his first SB in his second year.

Brady was hit hard a couple times early on, and I share the view of many others that the pick unsettled him. I don't think he was "shell shocked," but I do think he wasn't happy.

Rex would have been in trouble if they hadn't beaten the Colts a week earlier.

This guy seems to be losing his mind......he keeps rambling in and making NO sense.....they beat us 2/3 times this year...but generally speaking in both of their wins pats shot self in foot so badly and beat themselves. When pats won....they BLEW the jests out....outplayed....outcoached....out-strategized...F Rex...that bloated A-hole!

Hey Rex GFY LOL !!!!!!!!!!!

At one point from 2002 to 2006, the Patriots went 6-5 against the hapless Dolphins.

6-5.

I'm sure the Phins took pleasure in beating the Patriots 5 times.

Isn't that what he wants? :D

All I know is I get to walk around with a "Divisional Champs" t-shirt. do they make an "I beat the Pats shirt"?

Somehow, I don't see BB adding "beat the Jets" to his list of goals. Sad that Ryan can't seem to grasp that concept and can't win the division, the conference or the title. Must be considered quite an accomplishment to win nothing, then a playoff game or two before exiting for the season after trumpeting all season about winning it all.

He's got a winning record over us so he can say whatever he wants to. Annoying yes, but he's got a point.

No, but if they could, they probably would put up a banner "2010 Divisional Playoff Champions", in "Giants" Stadium. Sheesh, talking about being the red headed step child in your own backyard. Must be sad to have to use some one else's stadium.:D

This is almost a compliment....he's saying that the only team in the league that can beat us is a team that built themselves to beat us and only us.

Pretty much saying we're the best team in the league :D

(I look for the positives)

I interpeted it the same way. Basically said we could of beaten the Steelers. Say what you want, he is doing a pretty good job of beating us. 3-2 is a lotter better than the Bills not beating us since 03.

I don't know about that.

His team hasn't won the division and had to get in to the playoffs with other teams losing.

If any other coach caused as much controversy and produced the same results they would be on the hot seat.

Rex basically got lucky by signing a bunch of a has been patriot killers that were desperate to win a ring.

It wasn't luck, it was a brilliant defensive game plan. The guy is an annoying POS, but he has a great defensive mind. He's not a ******ed fat kid, he is an annoying, smart, fat, masochistic, foot fetishist, bully dominatrix, leather-mask wearing freak of nature.

The Jets in 2009 and 2010 were about one thing--selling PSLs. That team has a very narrow window, and its closing, not opening. As the Patriots found out recently, the time when you pay for bad drafts is 2-3 years down the road, and the Jets last two drafts have only produced a couple of players. And in this year's draft, by the time the Jets are getting ready to pick their second player, the Patriots will have already taken six.

Past performance is no indicator of future results.

Didn't read through all of the responses, but you do realize this is a compliment, correct?

In the End... for the season of 2010.

Patriots win another AFC east division. The Jets beat us in the playoffs, but in the end, They end up with nothing but a second place schedule next year.

So...

Ideally, the Steelers lose in the SB, and they fall back due to the SB loss curse, and the Jets still need to play at top level the entire year to maintain pace with the Patriots, 2010 Division Winners.

He's the reason I'm still scared everytime we go to Denver....nightmares :scared:

Just for the record

Denver has pretty much owned us throughout our whole history not just when Shanahan was there. This may not be correct anymore but a few years ago I read they were the team that either beat us the most or had the best winning percentage vs us (I would lean toward winning percentage as a team in our division likely has more total wins).

Denver is one of my most hated teams for this reason and that damn call to the national guard. Probably Jets one then the Broncos followed by the Giants, Colts, Steelers, Dolphins, and Bills. I guess the ravens are next but after that I dont think there is another team I hate. Wait throught the Bears and Packers up there I am still hurt by those loses but ok that is it now. Only about a third of the league :D
