No, you wouldn't dare because that would be implying Brady "gave up" which is absolutely ludicrous.

Right because when he fell behind, he led his team to 17 points, and when Brady got behind he gave up and sulked his way to 18 more points.

What the hell is he supposed to do? He had a full half to try after his defense woke up. Cutler was injured, by the way.

So what? When it gets cold you get snot in your nose. At the start of last weeks game, Brady put one finger up against one nostril and blew. Football players getting boogers is not something shocking to me.

Re: The true character of the Jets Captain!

You guys have a lot to talk about when you sit around and watch other fan's teams play. LMFAO!!
Next thing you know the pats have a whole sub-forum dedicated to the Jets the way the phins forums do.
Let me know how all this works out for ya'.

How is that AFC Championship trophy? Oh that's right....

Well then how is that AFC East trophy? Oh that's right....

Well at least you still have a game 42 years ago to hang your hat on.

How was it sitting at home watching the Jets play? How has it been obsessing over the Jets on your message boards like a limp wristed phin fan?

As a fan I'll hang my hat on delivering one of the worst defeats in Pats history....for now. I'll also hang my hat on being a fan while times are tough and while time are good. Right now times are good and no one can take that away. The same ol' Jets are no more.

You're a JEST fan posting on Patriots forum after a crushing defeat to the STEELERS.... Who's the one that's obsessing?

Um..no, losing in the first, second or third playoff game is the same thing. Season=Fail.

The jets got lucky a lot of times this season..we all knew they werent that good.

How was it sitting at home watching the Jets play?

It was pretty hilarious, actually.

It was quite enjoyable watching the Jets choke.

How has it been obsessing over the Jets on your message boards like a limp wristed phin fan?

Who is the one posting on who's message board?

Whopped di do. I guess that is all you got.

Ummm...I think the Steelers just did.

The same ol' Jets are no more.

Superbowl: Steelers vs. Packers.

Yup, looks like same ole Jets to me.

Right because when he fell behind, he led his team to 17 points, and when Brady got behind he gave up and sulked his way to 18 more points.
Both teams buried themselves late in the first half and both seemed to recapture the momentum about 5 minutes too late to win.

Re: The true character of the Jets Captain!

FOUR PSYCHOLOGICAL STAGES OF
THE BATTERED WOMAN SYNDROME

DENIAL
The wife refuses to admit--even to herself--that she has been beaten or that there is a "problem" with her marriage. She may call each incident an "accident". She offers excuses for her husband's violence and each time firmly believes it will never happen again.

GUILT
She now acknowledges there is a problem, but considers herself responsible for it. She "deserves" to be beaten, she feels, because she has defects in her character and is not living up to her husband's expectations.

ENLIGHTENMENT

The woman no longer assumes responsibility for her husband's abusive treatment, recognizing that no one "deserves" to be beaten. She is still committed to her marriage, though, and stays with her husband, hoping they can work things out.

RESPONSIBILITY

Accepting the fact that her husband will not, or can not, stop his violent behavior, the battered woman decides she will no longer submit to it and starts a new life.

(next year, Same Jet time, same jet channel: "Fire Ryan, he can't win the big one")

What you fail to recognize is the Jests will STILL be walking in the Patrios shadow next year. Until they build a legacy worth something, they'll remain there.

Jets fans only wish they could be like the Patriots....LMAO!

BTW...it's "Greasah", not "Greaser"

Take a look at my join date genius.

This is rich. So because I was here posting before the AFCCG, before the game in NE and before the game in Indy I should not be posting after a loss?

Re: The true character of the Jets Captain!

Battered person syndrome.
A theory of multiple victimization, the "cycle of violence" and learned helplessness explain the development of a psychological problem.

Because of constant and severe domestic violence usually involving physical abuse by a partner, becomes depressed and unable to take any independent action that would allow him or her to escape the abuse.

The condition explains why abused people often do not seek assistance from others, fight their abuser, or leave the abusive situation. Sufferers have low self-esteem, and often believe that the abuse is their fault.

Why No Super Bowl?

“Life's real failure"

I wonder if I'll still be alive before the Jets make it to another Super Bowl...

This is really unfair and pisses me off

It wasn’t SOJ it was just another AFC Title game. Random thoughts from a Sad fan

Listening to my 8 year old son, up in his room, sobbing.

The fix was in. Dont kid yourself....

Poll: Official Brian Schottenheimer venting thread (Poll included)

My Obligatory Annual "Same Old Jets" Thread

Even if we win it next year, it wont be same

Still happy to be a Jets fan.....screw all you haters.

Re: The true character of the Jets Captain!

No, you wouldn't dare because that would be implying Brady "gave up" which is absolutely ludicrous.

But, the numbers do not lie...Brady's last EIGHT playoff games against teams not coached by Jack Del Rio...QB ratings of 74.0, 101.6, 57.6, 79.5, 66.4, 82.5,
49.1, 89.0. Does anyone else think Brady's reputation as a big game quarterback has taken a hit? I certainly do, because he's basically played like sh#t lately in the playoffs...Does anyone care to argue that he's been GOOD in the playoffs? If so, I'd like to hear it....

Re: The true character of the Jets Captain!

I have only put one person on my ignore list ever. Guess who was quoted multiple times on the first page of this thread:rolleyes:
