who is not watching the afc title game

I don't want to, at all!

But I'm gonna end up watching :D

I always watch as much of the play offs as I can.

As long as a team love (Pats) or a team I despise (Jets) is playing...I can't turn a blind eye.
I would LOVE to see the Steelers bring a level of physicality that Jets only dream about in their weekly circle jerks. I would love to see LT take a helmet to helmet from James Harrison...or a Woodley take down Sanchez really hard.
Yes, I am watching for no other reason than to see some Jets' blood spilled on the Hines turf.

I want to puke at the thought of either team in the SB, less so with Pitt.

I want GB to win the SB badly.

I shall be drinking, eating, and watching this game with no regrets. Its football, our team got beat who cares,I think we are all Steeler fans this week...

I guess it comes down to this: Are you a football fan first, or are you a Patriot fan first? I am a diehard football fan who's favorite team is the Patriots. When the Patriots are involved, I am hanging on every play and my heart is thumping with excitement when they win, and heavy with sorrow when they don't. When the Patriots are not involved, then I can watch games without being so emotional and hopefully see some good football. I just can't see sitting in the corner and pouting because my team is no longer in contention.

Pretty much. "WAHHH WAHHHH, the Pats aren't in it anymore. I'm going to tell everyone on Pats fans that I'm not watching the games". Uh huh, right. Keep telling yourselves that, chiefs. Don't be shocked when you're in front of the TV at 3:00 and 6:30 Sunday afternoon and when you, along with the majority of the world, are watching the Super Bowl a couple of weeks from now.

Refuse to watch the AFC game, but will watch the NFC. Havent watched ESPN or NFL network since the loss or been to a football site other than this.

I'm not the stereotypical Boston sports fan who can see no further than the city of Hartford, CT. Of course I'll watch it. It's the NFL playoffs!

Mock headlines but probably not to far off

"you can't stop Drew Brees in the PO's, PERIOD!!!":bricks:

"The Manning Factor, all are doomed in PO's!!!":bricks:

"Matt Ryan, who can stop him? NO ONE!!!:bricks:

"The Michael Vick Enigma, SB win will vindicate him":bricks:

"Tom Brady is God, opposing teams have ZERO chance!!!":bricks:

"Big Ben, hand him the trophy now!!!

"Aaron Rodgers GOAT, opposing team should forfeit!!!

Sanchez and Cutler may as well have been dead before the playoffs started. Mainstream Analysts and Media blowhards are relentless, shameless, hype conjuring baffoons of the highest order. I have to watch.

Go Packers!!!

Yes I'll be watching. Even though I hate the Jets and want them to lose, I will not pray to God for a Jets loss. I think that God has too many other, important things, to focused on and not be concerned with a football game.

However, maybe God has different departments with angels in charge. So I have asked the asst. manager of the Department of Unimportant Human Activities to arrange a Jets loss.

I'm not watching. It's not so much because the Patriots are out so much as who is in. I'd have to root for Rapelesburger because I want the Jest to lose that bad. But I don't want to resort to that.

Will be rooting for whoever wins NFC to win the Bowl. But I probably won't watch NFC game either because I don't care who wins. Just want whoever it is to be whoever comes out of AFC.

I'll peek in from time to time, but I don't see the point of torturing myself.

I will be watching surrounded by Eagles fans. I am cheering for the asteroid to hit the AFC Championship, but I also think the Jets at Super Bowl week has some serious potential for sound bytes and media day with somebody saying something stupid, and maybe a Eugene Robinson type arrest or two (or even a Barrett Robbins trip to Mexico,) in a train wreck kind of way.

I think im not going to watch it, just cant stand both teams... i love football , but that is too painful to watch, have not watched espn, or nfl network all week long.. anybody else

Yes, me. I haven't done any of the above either, and I am not watching the game. I truly have no one to root for as I don't want either team to win. Not sure if I will watch the other game or the Superbowl either. We'll see.

You really have to be sadistic to watch the players after the game jump around in celebration to go to the Super Bowl.

If anyone is wacky enough to watch the game,if you are a true Pats fan shut the damn TV off as soon as the clock says 0:00

Hopefully I'll be too busy jumping around in celebration of a Green Beans loss to see that. :D I haven't missed a title game of any kind since I was a little kid. I'm too much of an NFL fan and love the drama of high-stakes football. My buddy who goes to the Pats home games with me, however, says he's done with football until training camp. :(

Go Steelers! Go Packers, all the way!

Being a Patriots fan for 35 years, I, too, am still very disappointed about our loss, but life goes on. My husband is a Jet fan and he has endured many years of unhappiness with that team. But he has always stood by me when the Pats were in the playoffs and Superbowl. He even opened a bottle of champagne when the Pats won their first Superbowl. I do not like the brashness of the Jets and how they always try to implicate the Patriots organization whenever they can, but, for my loving husband, I will be watching the game and hoping that the better team wins!!! For now, we will just have to wait until next year!!! Go PATS!!!!

Your a good wife.
:welcome:

I'm doing what I did for last year's AFCC game, waiting till it's over and then checking the score, praying the Jets didn't win....

egh....
