Surgery Upcoming For Brady

Obviously something none of us wanted, but looks like Brady is headed for surgery on his fractured foot. Let's hope for a full and speedy recovery.

It would great to have Brady not have some kind of surgery at the end of the season. People don't give this guy enough credit for all the injuries he plays through.

Guys, don't use this as an excuse. He played with it since like week 11 and played at an MVP level. Shows how tough he is, but dont use it as an excuse for his poor play. Give credit to the Jets.

NOOOOO. I'm fussing, but as a fan, come on. This guy is the franchise. I still remember how uneasy I was following week 1 of the 08 season, I didn't think we would make the playoffs. We were lucky to have a (now) pro-bowl caliber QB in Cassel to replace him. Can Hoyer do that? I'm not gonna rule it out, but I hope I'll never have to find out.

BB and Kraft are your franchise. You should all take some comfort in the fact that when Brady's done you will still be contenders. I'm pretty down on the colts right now, but I hope you all see why staking your success on one man doesn't work out so well: he throws for 300 yards 2 tds and has an "average" game and you get thumped is not a very reassuring feeling. I'd have more confidence in BB than Caldwell in being able to compensate for an elite QB's decline

BB is no doubt a better coach than Caldwell -- and probably 90% of the other head coaches out there -- but he got owned by Rex Ryan this past week. Ryan threw down the gauntlet and BB walked away muttering to himself. Does NOT work in the real world, of which the NFL is a part.

Huh? He made the Pro Bowl for the 01/02 season? I'm pretty sure you're thinking about the 02/03 season, when we went 9-7 and he led the league in touchdowns. His numbers in 01 were pretty unimpressive . . .

Btw, he played in 04/05.
