Brady to Play in Pro Bowl
By: Ian Logue

Monique Walker of the Boston Globe reported on Wednesday that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is planning on playing in the Pro Bowl on January 30th in Hawaii, citing a source. ...

Why the heck not. It's better than stewing on the golf course and thinking about the Jets game. I really wish we were still in it instead of having to watch out guys in the Pro Bowl though. *sigh*

He normally skips pro bowl after excruciating loss. There is a first for everything I guess :)

I think it's great that he decided to play after all.
I'm actually looking forward to this probowl as we have a few guys there as well as our coaching staff. Maybe BB can cozy up to a good near future FA.
Not that Adalius worked out for us but maybe this time it would work.

I'll be danged. I thought that'd be one of the first statements from the club after Sunday, that Brady was taking himself out of the game again. Personally I don't care either way, it's his prerogative.

Who coaches the game now that it's before the Super Bowl? Is it still the coaches from the teams that lose the conference champ games?

Brady's foot can't be bothering him to much if he's going to play in the Pro Bowl.

Only reason he is going is b/c Gis is doing a photo shoot in Maui. :D

On a semi-related note, I wonder if the producers of the new Hawaii Five-O will do some location shooting at the game this year, make an episode out of it. (If the NFL will let them, that is.)

The original series had been cancelled by the time the Pro Bowl started going there.

Tom Brady will not play in this years Pro Bowl due to a stress fracture in his foot. He will be replaced by Matt Cassel.

Bah. Before you know it, he's gonna lead the AFC to an 11-5 record then fail to make the playoffs.

Brady is having surgery on his foot tomorrow. He ain't playing in the pro bowl.

LOL No, it's the coaches with the best record who aren't still playing. Belichick and Smith. Means they will miss Senior Bowl practice, too. Just goes to show the #1 seed and HFA are potentially becoming over rated...

This article went out of date real quick. Like when you go to the store and buy milk and don't check the date.:D

Wonder if Cassel remembers the playbook and Bill plays him more than Manning and Rivers ?

Just a thought.

Word is Cassel is probable with a right shoulder injury.

Looking forward to the future pro bowl after the 18 game season when the only non super bowl qbs not injured face off from the two worst teams.:bricks:
