Just starting to get my thoughts together on the draft based on some players that I've seen in college games during the year. This early list is based on guys who might be around when the Patriots draft IMO.
Tear it apart if you want or Box will take a huge dump in it as usual.
1st round
Ryan Kerrigan OLB Purdue. Purdue DE's have a history of converting to OLB in the 3-4 and Kerrigan may be one of the best.
Cam Heyward- Look a OSU DE is due to make it in the NFL and he might be that guy.
Gabe Carmini OT Wisc- maybe to tall to play OG but could be the solid LT/RT of the future
Aldon Smith OLB Mo. could be a beast
2nd round
Mike Pouncey OG Fla
Jon Baldwin WR, Pitt
Jeremy Beal, OLB OK
Stephan Winsnieski, C/OG PSU
Mark Hezlich OLB BC- mixed feeling but he could be a very good Patriots player
3rd round
Ben Ijalana, Vill
Sam Ocho, OLB Tx
Stephan Schilling, OG Mich
John Clay RB Wisc, I have him rated higher than most as they see another Ron Dayne. I see someone who could be another Brandon Jacobs.
Be gentle
