Got to go to work right now. But have the Bruins yet figured out they were playing better before Savard came back and they have sucked since then.

Just saying ... time to forget what he was and treat him for what he is now which is a 3rd line center. Would be nice if everyone coached the belichick way where you earn what you get from game to game and what you did in the past means nothing for your status going forward.

you are spot on...just when you think the Bruins are worth watching, they prove you wrong

Well, they're currently the 2 seed in the East by way of leading their division, so they're playing pretty well. I still think they need to make a move to two if they want to be legit contenders. I do like this Kampfer kid though. He & Marchand sure look solid right now.

Savard, while still a shell of what he was, is slowly showing some signs of his old self. If Bergeron is any measure of what Savards recovery is like, then it will be a while before #91 hits his true stride again. Bergeron is only now starting to look like the guy he was before that severe concussion.

Sadly I think Savard's career may be over ... or at least it should be over for his family's sake.

Yeah it is sad....The good thing is that the B's didn't trade one of their centers to make room for Seguin...Now we can play all of our Centers on all the lines and be solid....Just sucks because Savard was like Rondo on the ice....

The other good news is that if Savard goes on season-ending LTI, Chiarelli has 4.5 million to go get a rental player for a cup run. I liked Sturm, but maybe we can get somebody more dynamic for the playoff run.

what pisses me off is that the two hit he took did not draw a fine or suspension...however, Paille was just fined for the hit last night. WTF?

Bettman is taking the Goodell approach to dealing with hits.

That said, I think Savard's most recent hit was just a case of ****ty luck. The first hit, though...yeah, I don't know what the hell is going on in the NHL right now.

Yeah...I think that was an over-reaction from the Colin Campbell protecting his son's team story that came out a couple of weeks ago.

Is Seguin going to be the replacement for Savard?
