Congrats to the Jets, Their defense played great and theiroffense played better than the Pats.

The Jets were the better team today...congrats to them...My wife of 4 weeks is a Packer fan so I'll be cheering for them the rest of the way..All in all I think the Patriots had a better year then most of us expected and with 6 high draft choices we are in good shape for the next few years

Jets had a great defensive game plan and used the fact they could cover our single cover our receivers on the outside, to gum up the middle and make it sluggish. Still, we moved the ball all the way down the field and a TD instead of an Int makes it a different ballgame, but the Jets forced it into their style and made big plays.

It's usually small differences capitalized on that win close games. Great defensive game plan. Their's 32 teams in the league, we've had the bounces and big plays before, but not today.

Surprised Hernandez wasn't more involved, though...

You were the better team tonight.

You came into our house and backed up your talk.

Your defense was absolutely great today.

I'll eat my crow now.

Not handing over the crown of the division. Our team is set up for long term success and so is yours. I look forward to the future of this rivalry.

Great post. No reason you should; you still have one of the best QBs of all time and your D will only get better with experience (not to mention those 6 picks in the first 3 rounds of next year's draft). Gotta admit, though, its fun to have a chance again, and winning is even better. You guys will be tough next year - should be fun.

Sorry - but with all the trash talking by Rex and boys, I cannot congratulate a classless bunch like them. They won, but that's it. Never liked the Jets and never will.

Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Have the Jets earned a little respect with this win in our place or do you hate them even more now??

I respect the fact that like an increasing amount of trash talkers to the Pats, they backed up their words with their performance and beat us,trash talkers have done well against the Pats and backed it up more and more often the past few years, trash talking does not mean the Pats will embarrass them like they used to do in the glory years.

....gotta respect that no matter how disgusting the trash talking got...I respect them a tad more now.

With that being said,I would rather watch paint dry next Sunday than to see the 2 teams I hate more than any others face off to go to the Super Bowl

Sanchez really blew today.

16/25 194 3 TDs :)

I can't disagree here. Sanchez has been a better playoff QB than Tom Brady.

In fact, a lot of quarterbacks have been a better playoff QB than Brady since the divisonal game against the Jaguars in 2008.

Congrates to them, they won but **** them.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

I would say Both

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Both, I don't think they have to be mutually exclusive.

Good job Jets.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Respect that team more? With the trash that they talk and their fans the way they are? No

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

what a bunch of clowns....literally...they lose next weekend and wont be back to the playoffs for at least 3-4 more yrs.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

The duo of Rex and Sanchez are now 2 for 2 going to AFCCG. You have to respect that.

See you next year.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

I've gained a lot of respect for the Jets players as well as their management.

All of the "gambles" that most of us bashed, like the acquisition of players including but not limited to Edwards, Cromartie, Holmes, and LT paid off magnificently. Maybe the Pats indeed should have been more aggressive in the offseason, but hey who needs Santonio Holmes when you can sign Torry Holt?

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

I was thinking about the trash talking and wonder why we no longer do our talking on the field. I hate the Jets even more after this loss-We even let LT score. He and Cromartie got their revenge for the San Diego playoff loss.

The Jets outplayed and outcoached the Pats. They were clearly the better team today. Kudos to them.

Now let's go Steelers!

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Respect. Rex now have 4 playoff wins (on the road) and two AFCCG's in the past two years. Pats have none. Gotta respect that.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

I still hate them, actually more than ever due to the pre-game crap, and I'll never respect them because of the way they conduct themselves. But I give them credit for a great game and effort today and they were the better team. Not even close, despite the score.
