The playcalling on that last drive was absolutely dreadful. Six minutes left, down two scores, and we're running the ball despite the head coach screaming at him on the sidelines to throw. Furthermore, we have a 6'7" match-up issue of a TE and we're using him to block even though the Jets are playing man and dropping one safety into the box. On top of that, Gronk frequently had nobody to block and was left just standing there. O'Brien had an excellent year. He had a horrible second half today.

On top of that, does anybody still want to make an argument for why we don't need to improve our interior blocking (specifically C and RG)? The Jets were getting pressure up the middle all day and that man was typically being blocked by Koppen or Connolly.

Well if we loose Mankins, then we'll really be screwed.

I wouldn't be disappointed at all if four of their first six picks were used on the lines.

I'm more upset w/ BB than BOB. That fake punt with a little over a minute remaining in the first half was insane.

Everything that the Patriots could have done wrong today they did wrong. That starts with the players and the coaches.

Nothing the Pats did today resembled anything they did during the regular season.

The rot is pervasive in this organization. How many consecutive playoff choke jobs will Patriots fans accept?

What a choke job from head to toe. One n done wow, Jets talking all week got into the heads of the Patriots.

The coaching as a whole was terrible in this game. From start to finish. The fake punt call that never should have been was probably one of the worst calls of BB's career. The abundance of running plays with five minutes left in the game. And now, the onside kick when they should have kicked it off and put the ball in the defense's hands. In all, we were thoroughly outcoached and outplayed in this game. Just a pathetic excuse for a game on our side.

All of that "we don't talk through the media, we let our play do the talking" is fine when you actually show up for the game that you're supposed to play. But you look like a bunch of ******* ****ies when you don't talk and get your teeth kicked in. And that's what we looked like today. A bunch of ****ies.

This. I'd single that out as the moment that I thought "d%#*!@t, we're probably going to lose this game". And that was before the subsequent touchdown.

So, stop beating around the f***ing bush. If you were Kraft, what would you do?

I'm as pi-ssed as all of you are, but come on, you guys are talking like you want Brady traded! It sucks, yeah, but we're a building team.

This is like the AFC Championship game of 06 vs. the Colts. Expect a host of weapons to come in next year.

Maybe it's time for you-know-what.

I don't think anybody needs to be fired, but a soul searching needs to be done by the coaching staff. This was absolutely terrible from start to finish and BB is as much to blame for it as O'Brien and the rest of the coaching staff. If we're going to give Belichick all the credit when things are going good, he needs to get an equal amount of the blame when things are going bad and the coaching staffs' *******s are puckering up.

This sounds very undercover Troll like.

That would have worked if Chung had caught the ball.

The running on the last real drive was DREADFUL. I mean, a couple is ok but it was run run run run

Jets talked the talk and came to play unlike the Patriots. I hope the Jets embarrass them even more during post game interviews, they deserve it.

This Patriots team was built to outscore you and they always have trouble when the game gets close, the injuries to the D-line didnt help the defense which thrived on turnovers, the jets knew that there wasent going to be much pressure and all sanchez had to do was relax.

As soon as a team (the jets) came in and stopped the offense enough to keep the game close, they didnt know what to do and their defense isnt good enough to stop both the run and the pass, only the pass when they know it is coming.

The gameplan im sure was to get a couple of scores and force sanchez to win the jets the game by himself, well after that pick by brady the patriots had used all of their bag of tricks and the jets played coverage D, something which brady apparently has trouble with.

I disagree with all the *****ing about running the ball in the 4th quarter. They were moving the ball, Jets were playing the pass and had WRS covered all night. They were getting junks running the ball and they were moving down the field. There was over 7:00 minutes left. All they needed was a score, any score. Does it really matter if you are down by 1 score with 5-6 minutes left or 8?
The failure was not getting into FG range from the 32 yard line on a 3rd and 13. Pats just needed a dump off and kick a FG. The incomplete forced them to go for it on 4th and 13 because a 52 yard FG was out of kicker's range. That was the game right there. Time management was not an issue..they needed points...

Me too. They've earned the right to say whatever they want about the Pats after this game. I hope that having to sit there and listen to the Jets gloat forces the Pats to do some soul-searching and find the backbone that they were missing today.
