Weather report: It's gonna be cold...

Temps to start at 31 and drop to below 25 before the end of the game.. Winds are expected to be 15MPH out of the WNW.. Or from Left to right across the open end of the stadium..

looks like the Wind Chill will make it feel 11 degrees colder than it is..

This will affect the kicking game for both teams as the balls will definitely be like trying to kick cinder blocks by the end of the game.

And it will affect that sissy boy QB of the Jets just as much.

The colder and windier the better.

Great news.

Yeah and I know we're saying 25 isn't that cold, but let me tell you something-- I grew up in Texas and it took me 4 winters to get used to the cold (and I still have whiny days even now.)

25 is going to be cold to dirty Sanchez. Now I know he has boot liner in his helmet, but I would expect it to affect his game if it's 40 or below. (40 was always what I considered to be very cold growing up.)

There's no way he's adapted to winter yet, I don't think.

Won't you step into the freezer.

You need to be more specific about where in Texas.. Cause here in Dallas, we've been in the 20's.. Not as consistently as in New England, but still.

Luckily, even though I haven't living in New England for almost 10 years, I still have much of my thick blood..

I grew up near San Antonio. It gets a bit colder there now than it used to, from what I can see in the papers when I check them, but I remember 60 was always sweater weather and 40 was always where you had to bring out the winter coat. LOL

The weather report on NECN just said that it was going to be windy up until 4pm. Then the wind is supposed to die down and ultimately have no affect on the game. Temps should be right around 30.

Either way you couldn't ask for a better day for Foxboro in January! :rocker:

Still cold enough for Dirty Sanchez to suck but not so cold that you have to really layer up.

Leaving the hotel in about half hour for the tailgate!!!! :rocker::rocker:

This will be a pretty big factor imo. Thinking back to week 2, I remember some of those kicks burying us deep in our own territory and our O had difficulty digging back out, sometimes just from lack of space. In the 45-3 game, the special teams advantage was completely reversed to the point that we received some really screwed up kicks/punts. I look forward to some short kicks from the jesters in this cold!

I do hope there are some guys without any shirts. Shows good team spirit....if not some adult beverages. Don't seem to see that much anymore; is it happening and the network is not showing it to prevent frostbit nipples? Guys are not smarter are they? Ah the old Schaefer days...

Wait! Instead, how about girls...

My bad, this is not the Jets forum.

I was just out and about at 3pm.....It's about 34 degrees with little wind(i'm in Revere, near the water).Hope the sun disappears by 5 as it affects the offense more than the D.

We're looking at game temp around 30,with WC around 20 by 2nd half.Don't see an advantage for either team.
