The whole World is watching, so please show them who we are. Show them why we are the number one seed, show them that we do our talking on the field. Show them why the Dynasty is still alive. Inshallah you will make us proud and do a favor for nearly all the NFL and kick these loudmouths out. The World is watching and will know who the Class Team is after tonight. God be with you.

Alright. I'll show the world when I get home.

Seeing "Inshallah" in the context of a Patriots game gets my blood going! :D Somewhat related - it might be a bit weird, but I've always thought a whole crowd ululating would really mess with a visiting team's heads...

Is this a joke ????? Serious ... invoking God to help you win ???? I thought the Pats were already favored to win. This is sad.

It would be refreshing to see the fanbase make the team proud for a change...

The make us look good mentality...:ugh:

A little tolerance towards people and how they express themselves might serve you well.

If you are incapable of such an act, it's probably not worth commenting on.

The thread premise is just a *little* ridiculous. I'll leave it at that in the interest of not taking this discussion elsewhere.

Would you have replied with the same comment/picture if he instead wrote: "Godwilling you will make us proud..."?

Patriots fans don't need to as God is already there. To rehash an oldie but goodie:

Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven,
God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a
faded Colts flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God.

"This is very special; not everyone gets a house
up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the
corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Silver and blue sidewalk, a
50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Patriots logo flag, and in
every window, a New England Patriots towel.

Peyton looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful,
but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records,
and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point Peyton?"

"Well, why does Tom Brady get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said: "Peyton, that's not Tom's house, it's mine."

GO PATS!!

I agree. It's a bit over the top and I am certainly not the religious-type.

But if folks want to say a prayer for the Pats, they shouldn't get singled out for it.

My .02$

Hahaha! Pure genius.

I am not trying to convert this thread into a religious discussion... I m pretty sure that wasn't the OP's intention (re-read the thread, he sounds so pumped up like most of us here)
and I understand why some would take the word "inshallah" out of context, so I just want to throw my 2-cent in. The word is VERY commonly used in arab/muslim societies when referring to future plans or events.
I am pretty sure we wouldnt be having this discussion if someone said "for Christ's sake"
