... three are sitting out on Sunday?

TBC
Jermaine Cunningham
Deion Branch
Aaron Hernandez
Eric Moore
Sebastian Vollmer

I'm guessing one of TBC/JC, Moore, and then I guess Hernandez? That would stink.

considering hernandez spoke to themedia i would take it as he will play. i think they all should play. most important is vollmer i think.

They could all play, just like I could flip a coin and get heads 6 times in a row. And that's with a fair coin, while there's nothing fair about an injury report.

Reggie Wayne was questionable last Sunday (not that he really "played" anyway.) Did anyone want to bet on 50/50 odds that he would be out of the lineup?

My guess is all of these guys play. Perhaps one won't.

My experience in watching the Questionable reports with the Pats is they are pretty close when it's 4+ with hitting the 50/50 ratio. Of course they all could play, but that is what Probable designation is for.

I think they will all play, and if not 5 of them will play, including all the offensive guys. I think its a good sign that they all practiced all this week

no way Vollmer, Branch and Hernandez do not start imo.

That leaves Moore, TBC & Cunningham.
I really hope Moore & Cunningham will play...TBC has not impressed me this season so I would think he's the most expendable of the 6.

Yeah....and Reggie wayne did Jack sh#t in that game.......could be because Revis was on him most of game....could be because he was banged up....

Its a good thing Wayne's injury has nothing to do with any Patriots' injuries

I agree. At least one of these guys is inactive, and TBC is probably the best case scenario of the three.

Not that it really matters but I'm just curious what the injury report looked like the last time we played them. Do they have all game injury reports listed somewhere?

I was really hoping Pryor would be better for the game. The depth on the DLine is very concerning. Even if we are able to win this game, how are they going to hold up for the rest of a run. Luckily, or maybe not so luckily, this is probably the best line they can face in the playoffs, although Woody is not going to be there so that is debatable. Love, Deadrick and Cohen are really going to need to step it up.

A few years back, when the league changed the reporting rules for the injury report, I thought that the percentages went out the window.

Probable - Means injured but full participation
Questionable - Means limited participation
Doubtful - Means held out of practice

I thought the new rules made the injury report harder to gauge who's in and who's out, but maybe I'm wrong.

This would be true if the probable and questionable designators meant what they used to mean. Since the change of the injury reporting rules, however, a player who misses practice in a week before a game is required to be listed as questionable no matter how likely it is that he will play. The questionable and probable designators remain but they are no longer based on an opinion of '50/50' or 'virtual certainty' like they used to be.

edit: TX Patriot beat me.

I expect most or all to play. Belichick has made a few pointed comments this year about the league as it relates to fines and telling players how to tackle; then he saw and commented on Minnesota declaring Favre out then suddenly making him questionable late in the week and then playing. If the league is OK with Out ending up playing then I doubt he gives a crap about how many questionables play. The new definitions have been shown above and based on how the league has been run this year six out of six questionables playing is absolutely fine. If Jolly Roger doesn't like it he can go look at the Vikings first.
