Dilfer: Brady will unleash Hell on Jets

dilfer talks both ways.one day he says one thing another day another.

I kind of agree. I thought that 45-3 was kind of an anomoly & that the Jets had a shot this week, but Cromartie really killed all of that. It's hard to imagine the Pats losing now, because Brady will ensure that at the very least, he plays his best game; and when he plays his best game, the other team loses...

I'm with you..... I was thinking that the Patriots would win this one fairly comfortably... We're a better team, they are rested and BB is almost automatic with 2 weeks to prepare for a game. However, after here all this trash talk from the Jets. I'm thinking that it's gonna be a beatdown of major proportion.

really means nothing what cromartie said. will be a closer game as usual.pats need to play mistake free football as always. BB material is overrated. Everyone thought pats would beat the ravens last yr in the playoffs. If anything Belichick is reminding the team of that than what the jets are talking.

+1 this will be a close game indeed.

Have you ever played a sport in your life? Bulletin board material matters. Hell, it matters in basically any ego-driven competition. I expect the Pats to shred the Jets so hard they get any early start on next season's slump.

Wasn't it Dilfer who said that the Jets (and Sanchez) were better than the Pats even a couple of weeks ago?

Anyone who thought that the Patriots would beat the Ravens, after losing Welker, wasn't thinking very well. Last year, the Patriot's whole offense revolved around Wes, when he went down the week before the Ravens game, I thought it was going to be a very, very tough game.

+3 - If this score has a differential of more than 8 points between winner and loser I will be shocked...seriously

Talking trash AND believing it will make a difference on the field are for children

The Jets have a formidable team no matter what happened last month or last year and they would not be in the playoffs and divisional round if they weren't talented.

Why do you say that? Just because it's a playoff game?

We've proven MULTIPLE TIMES this year the ability to score at least 31 points on some very good defenses (including the one we are playing). So, even if we're aren't 100% in synch.... (lets say we only score 27-28).

What on god's earth have you seen from the Jets offense in the last few weeks that makes you think that Sanchez will be able to keep up, in sh!tty weather, no less.

All I care about is the W, so either way I'm good. I just don't see it being all that close. Say 31-10.

Not everything Dilfer says is right..he also says Sanchez is a top 5 QB. :D

hahahah true! I think someone did mention this in the thread too Lol. Either way, anybody can say anything about anyone, the players will dictate a win.

Yet, Belichick obviously disagrees with you. So don't be offended when I side with BB.

I've played a lot of sports and I can't disagree with you more. There will be a lot of chippiness, dumb personal foul penalties etc... and most of that will stem from trash talking. I don't think it will make a person physically play better. But it might just be the little added motivation needed when a Pats player is dead tired in the 4th quarter and needs to make just one more play. The season on the line, all the **** they had to listen to for the past week etc... You would be delusional to believe that it won't motivate them, IMO.

Not a Dilfer fan.
I didn't need him to tell me this anyway.
Pats are gonna explode Sunday!!!
Watch...they are coming out JACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pats by 17 at least.

I will be shocked if this team blows out the jets.I just want the W in the end.

Re-watch the Colts/Jets game.
Sanchez is HORRIBLE.

I think the Pats 2ndary has 3 pics again.

Yep. Plus they only won that game by virtue of one severely rookie penalty. They shouldn't expect to get that kind of bailout from the Patriots.

Before the 45-3 game, Dilfer also said that he "believed in his heart of hearts that the Jets were the better team from top to bottom" and that "nothing that happens in the game would change his opinion on that". I like Dilfer's in-game analysis, but that was a real :ugh: moment. I'm not sure I should feel better about the game now that he's said this.
