Ian Rapoport makes fun of Danny Woodhead

He's a good soldier and has bought into the program. It is what is is.

If I were a reporter, I would hope that all of the players were loudmouth blowhard quote machines, but that just doesn't happen here.

For a non-columnist beat reporter, Ian Rappaport sets records in using the word "I" in his reports. In fact, he is known as I - An Rappaport.

However, gotta give credit when due, he's good at what he does.

This piece, however, is weird. What does he expect Woodhead to do? Pull a Cro-Octo-Dad? Rappaport wrote this as if he had never heard of the Patriots and BB's ways - - as if he had just flown in from Albuquerque.

as if he had just flown in from Albuquerque.

Or East Rutherford.

Yep, I guess it would be fun to be the Jest beat reporter these days. If Ian is getting tired of the way BB's Pats interview, he could always put in an app in NJ.

Fault the subject because the interviewer asks the wrong question? Obviously Woodhead is focused on the next game. Did he ask him about the next game? no.

I'm really not impressed with this guy, just another gossip columnist IMO.

The media is such a joke in this country. Listening to those press conferences the other day was unbelievable. Rather than asking football questions (some did, but even those questions were pretty lame), they are trying to stir up catty, back and forth dialogue between the players so they will have something to write about. When they couldn't get the Pats to say something inflammatory about the opponent, they had to tell Brady that Branch called him a dork, trying to stir up something there. What the h e double hockey sticks are they teaching in the schools where these people are educated?

Cro-Octo-Dad?

I like OctoCrom better, heard that on the radio yesterday :D

Although he has nine kids, so what would that be? NintoCrom?

You can't figure out why reporters do that?

Have you ever read Patsfans.com?

If they reported solely what came out of Woodhead's mouth, you think there would ever be a link to a media outlet that relies on advertising on this board?

It's like bashing the hotdog vendor for selling stuff that will ruin your heart. If everyone stopped eating hotdogs, he'd have to go into another line of business.

Frankly, I thought Rapoport was pretty funny. ;)
