I refuse to vote in such a useless hypothetical poll. There's no choice to be made here for the Patriots. I encourage others to ignore this one.

Things must be getting really boring at the water cooler. It's like asking who would you rather have watching your back in a bar fight....The Thing or the Incredible Hulk?

LMAO! I don't want to think about losing either. You can win with either one. Like another poster said 'Hernandez was a beast in both Jets games'. So if I had to choose one it would probably be Hernandez by a small hair.

I was honestly REALLY concerned with Hernandez' injury status up until he practiced last Wed.
Till then you hadn't heard much and it seemed like he was overlooked. I think he's VERY underrated on how dangerous he makes our offense

like the BB vs Brady thread, I can't muster up the strength to vote on this poll. If I did I might start tearing up

they compliment each other's game. Hernandez can stretch the field better as hes faster and hes amazing yards after catch with his shiftiness. hes fluid when hes running and can take a short pass a long way. Gronkowski is a better blocker and a bigger target. he gets in better position than defenders for the ball and uses his frame to beat defenses. its kind of like having complimentary RBs..ones big and strong, the other is small and fast and without them both, we wouldnt be the team we are today

The OP wants us to pick ONE TE for our team. There is no question that Gronk is ONE TE we should want. And just BTW, I think that Gronk might be the top 10 players drafted this year.

Hernandez is a versatile TE, WR, and H-back. There is no way that he is as valuable as a complete TE like Gronk.

I just pray to god Hernandez is never catching passes from Manning. If they can't keep both, I hope they trade one of them a year before their contract is up to prevent them from going to a legit rival.

Obviously the Hulk. He beat the Thing in a fight. I thought this was common knowledge lol.

How many good years does Manning have and how long is Hernandez signed for?

One thing that cannot be understated is how fortunate the Pats are to have Crumpler on this team. He's been a good TE in the NFL for a long time, a class act, and a winner. While Gronk and Hernandez don't seem to need any help, I have no doubt AC has taught them quite a bit about how to play the game right at this level.

That said, I voted Gronk, but wouldn't want to give up either one.

Was kinda of thinking the same thing. By the time he hits FA, Manning might be ready to retire. That would work out well. :)

Can't answer, so my answer is both:

It's because of Crump Daddy's help that they look like they don't need his help.

Crumpler was unquestionably BB's biggest off-season acquisition, when you consider both his own impact on the running game, as well as his tutelage of the "Patriots' Twins."
