Lots of Woodhead this Sunday

I want to see Woodhead run wild on his former team this Sunday! Just sayin!

Re: Lots of Woodhead this Sunday

I'm curious to see how he responds to his fumble. These things sometimes come in bunches, kind of like a hitter in baseball going into a slump. Once the balls stop dropping in for hits, they start to grip a little tighter, overswing a little, and other subconscious habits that just make the problem worse. We'll see if that fumble (especially since it was the first Pats turnover in what... 8 games?) gets in his head and effects how he runs. My guess is no, but we'll find out.

I think he will get lots of good advice on how to hang onto the ball. He could have blacked out for a second and just dropped it. The thing about head injuries is once you get that first one, the next one is easy to get. He takes some solid hits in games, hope the head injuries wont be a problem. Can't control those.

Re: Lots of Woodhead this Sunday

Id like to see him run but on passes out in the flat in space. Ball protection priority!!

Re: Lots of Woodhead this Sunday

He's probably the most exciting player to watch on offense besides Tom Brady. I love that guy, and I hope he has a greeeeat post season.

Kind of agree (that seemed to be the case with Maroney who people quickly forget didn't fumble for his first three years or something before hitting that infamous stretch). But with Woody, his fumble seemed to be more a product of him getting whacked in the head in the pile and getting semi-concussed more than ball security.

I think a better solution is, oh I don't know, not running your 5'7 RB up the gut for short yardage. :)

Don't tell that to the Jaguars.

Re: Lots of Woodhead this Sunday

Bringin the Wood, smackin 'em with what they threw away.
Some Kharmic balance for the years of Parcells
trying to stab us in the back
with our own, stolen weapons.
Most of all, the Great Curtis Martin.
That one still hurts.

Some balance, but numerous details remain.

Last night, Auburn against the
WTFNeon Greenfeet reminded me
of upcoming Blue vs Green.

Looked over to Yoohoo, got a Message From God?
Green, Off by a foot.

They used to say
"I love you man. But Not in that way.
Not that there's anything wrong with that"

Now they say, "I love you man, but not in that Rex Ryan way, That is just wrong."

I hope he is a big part of the offense this weekend against his former team! Just another great way to stick it to Rex!
