I think we take a place-kicker and a punter in the first round. Gostkowski is done and Mesko is a bad name for an NFL player.......

But seriously, only a select few people have any idea what position will be targeted and most of those peple have the initials BB!

That's actually pretty funny. I didn't notice your initials when I wrote up my post!

Well done, BB!

:D:Dlol thx...ill take cameron jordan, brandon harris, aaron williams as my prediction for our first pick.

I don't have any binkys yet..... I like the DE, OLB and OL for positions in that order..... 17th - best DE! Please! 32 and 33 a beast at OLB and an Tackle/Guard would thrill me

I agree we need DE, OLB and OL with 3 of our first 4 picks. BB will trade back one of the picks for sure.

Its certain no TE this year. RB/ WR is a need but not in the early rounds.

Fully concur..... I fully expect movement with the current picks but I really hope we end with 3 or 4 players in the first 2 rounds that makes a living in the "trenches"......... That would make me a happy clam.

Taking Ol or DL guys only works if you can find the right guys for BB's defense.

On the D Line I see one guy, Dareus, that stands out head and shoulders above the rest.

After Dareus there are a ton of "projection selections" at DE like Guy, Jenkins, Wilkerson, etc. and BB rarely reaches in round one.

Two rules to keep in mind for BB in round 1.

1.) three down player.
2.) Value selection.

Based on these rules I am going with:

17.) OLB Ryan Kerrigan Purdue
32.) CB Brandon Harris Miami
33.) Expecting a monster trade!
64.) OG Clint Boling of Geoirgia
74.) Expecting a trade!
96.) OT Lee Ziemba of Auburn.

Would love to see Kerrigan in a Pat's Uniform
Doubt Harris lasts to 32 but one never knows. would be a nice pick also
Expecting a monster trade with any of 17, 32 or 33..... we'll just have to wait and see. Rather take a tackle and move him to Guard but Boling is a solid pick also.

Boling is very high on my list of OLmen also.

He played OT and OG at UGA.

If we got our olb/de elephant type at 17. Would you trade up to get that 3-4 de with 1b? I can see 3-4 playoff teams in need of a 3-4 de; GB, NY Jets, Seattle, Pitt and maybe Atl. Trade 64 to move up to 20(TB pick). Take Jordan, Heyward, Watt, Paea or Wilkerson. Whomever you value the most. You can just about recoup the value of that 2nd round pick by trading out of 33. Drop from 33 to 40 and pick up their third. 71 for example. You basically have what you started with. Got your impact players on the defensive front. Still have a good 2nd rounder. Deal one of those thirds for a second next year. Could still have a draft of something like;
1A R. Kerrigan - Purdue
1b C. Jordan - Cal
2 ol (M. Pouncey - Fla. or S. Wisniewski -PSU)
3a wr (Jernigan - troy)
3b rb (k.hunter - ok st)

Why would we take a CB? We don't need another CB... in fact, it's one of the positions of least need.
