OT:Reggie Wayne fuming "It's bull. It's bull, man"

The last time Wayne had just one catch in a game in which he played from start to finish was Sept. 9, 2004, at New England (one catch, 42 yards).

what else did he expect on revis island? 3 td catches? lol

They have an on field coach. He's really great and much smarter than everyone else. I mean, it has to be true. The media says so.

There's been very little criticism of the Colts staff so far. That last timeout was a gift for the Jets and may have cost them the game. The inability to even try to get Wayne involved was absolutely ridiculous.

As always, Manning gets credit for being the de facto OC when things are going well, but gets none of the blame when the gameplan sucks.

Wayne was open on a pretty large number of plays, from what I saw, but Peyton these days is behind only Sanchez and Sam Bradford on the "look for the checkdown if the first read isn't there" department.

It's ridiculous that they could not get Wayne more involved...some of that is Peyton's fault but I blame more on Caldwell. I think he is a terrible coach who inherited a great team and great quarterback.

Colts couldn't handle the Jets defensive gameplan. All they have to blame is themselves. It's kinda funny watching the finger pointing. I'm sure the Colts fans are also aplopletic right now.

I think that is the most overrated aspect of football analysis this side of the 260 lb DE who gets some sacks and gets killed vs the run being a good player.
You don't need explosive players to run a pass offense. Surely they help, but you only need sound play calls, decision making by the QB and a guy who can run the route you give him to exploit a weakness.
Every single receiver the Colts put on the field could run a pattern and catch a pass if the Colts made it a point to exploit the Jets weaknesses.
In fact, they did, but they coughed up a huge furball by not doing it on 3rd downs.
If BOB called the Jets 3rd down plays yesterday (and I say him based on the gameplan he put together to exploit them last time) they score 30 points.

In fairness to them, that strategy would have worked if not for Dallas Clark and Austin Collie/half of their team being injured. Both of them catch that 3rd down pass Blair White dropped at the worst time.

Bill Polian is the biggest culprit for the Colts' season. His last 3 first round picks have all been terrible and he's repeated mistakes countless times. I'm still baffled by the Jerry Hughes pick when they had so many more needs to use that pick on.
