Insights from Jets Insider Board:

I've been watching this team since 1968 and what I'm seeing Sanchez do is something that NO other Jets QB has been able to do: win with the game on the line with under 2 minutes to go. Think about it, Namath didn't have 6 games like this in his whole Hall Of Fame career, Todd? O'Brien? Vinny? Chad Pennington? None of these guys were able to make you sit back and have total confidence that they could and WOULD win the game. Also, that last INT against the Bears would have made it 7 and he was INCHES away on that one to Santonio. We got something great here guys.
---------------------------------------------------------------
WE WILL NOT LOSE TO THE PATS
NO WAY NO HOW....NOT AFTER THAT LAST ASS KICKING...WE ARE GOING TO TAKE IT FROM THEM AND MOVE ON TO PITT

---------------------------------------------------------------
Revis couldn't possibly get any better. But he OWNED one of the best receivers in the game and completely shut him out in a gigantic game. To me thats the different in the game. Starting after his rest over the bye week, it appears to me that Revis is playing on the same level he was last season.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Seemed to me that Rex had a much more serious approach to this game then almost any I've seen. Saw him working with the defense during the game, getting pissed at Cro, working the ref, trying to fake Vineterri out on his field goal try and using his timeouts effectively. I like this Rex.
---------------------------------------------------------------
We just beat the best QB and K in NFL history! What do the Pats have that could top that?!
----------------------------------------------------------------
We beat them in the first game we can do it again. Our OL and RB are better than Pats.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Eeeek:- It would be nice if Weatherford and the special teams can get back on track too.
----------------------------------------------------------------
And to top it off....
Get your fake ***** secretly having wet dreams about Tom Brady/ stupid tony dungy predicting/ first and 10 debater trying to get a lot of twitter responses/ coach Caldwell calling a time out with 30 seconds stupid ***** out of here. No offense ... but you're worse than a gold digging 19 year old blonde from nevada moving to Hollywood hoping she meets a hollwood producer type of chick ....

The Jets lucked out. They played a tough game....gotta hand em that but we need to end this now. We need to SHUT THEM OUT to make a point.

I hope our coaching and prep makes all the difference.

If I could sit down with the top 100 most fanatical J-E-T-S fans and listen to comments like these, I'd let a giant yawn, like this...

:yawn2:

...and then just chuckle at the 100 fools barking at the moon and wishing for something they can't have.

I'm hoping a Jets fan reads this and posts it on their board. Maybe I'll be invited as a special guest on their board after writing this. :D

Just because the Jets beat a team led by one of the biggest post-season choke artists in history, doesn't mean they should be in Canton.

I was hoping for an Indy win too

Ditto. As much as I'm looking forward to next Sunday's game against the Jets, it's precisely this reason, between the mediots and the hordes of the most delusional and dumbest fans on the face of the planet that I was actually rooting for the Colts last night.

Any one else hope Ed the Fireman can't get a ticket to Gillette? I'm sick of seeing that guy.

Portland Maine huh?

Me too.

Didn't know Devito (jets) was from UMO....
speaking of UMO.....any word on McGowan 's recovery?

Don't understand the need to repost fanboy drivel from jets fans on this board incessantly. Do you think the rest of us don't know how to go read this drivel if we want to? Like I said in the other thread, trolls aren't a problem here...members addicted to trolling in enemy territory are...

Expect a closer game than the 45-3 shellacking last meeting....

But a zebra can't change his stripes...Sanchez is no Brady

and the Pats DL is tougher than the Colts DL......

BB will plan to stop the Jets running game and let Sanchez overthrow his receivers all nite....on obvious passing downs....Sanchez will be harrassed.
He got alot of dumpoff passes that picked up good yardage that isn't going to happened against this Patriot "do your job" defense....

Double digit win with Jet defense being exposed by Gronk and Hernandez....BJGE and Woody running low behind a good Patriot OL will get the needed yardage...

Rex might be sucking toes by midway thru the 3rd qtr....:rocker:

So Sanchez had a guy running wide open down the field 5 times, he hits one of those and now we should be scared of him? He is mediocre, plain and simple.

This is a hilarious comment. Seriously, what can the Pats do to top the Colts? I am not going to get into who is a better QB for their careers, but Brady is clearly the better QB THIS YEAR and it isn't really that close. The Pats are a far superior team from top to bottom than the Colts. The only players on their team (who aren't on IR) that would have a chance to start on the Pats are Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, and Robert Mathis. That is it.

What do the Pats have to top what the Colts have? Everything.

Many of us LOVE reading Jets fans' comments and there's nothing wrong with it. People who are bothered by that are:rolleyes:

C'mon Mo, lighten up and have some fun. This aint war & peace bro

I do follow the Black Bears football and hockey so I was aware of both Devito and McGowan. For what I know about McGowan is just that he was placed on IR at the beginning of the season and I think he's in the 2nd year of a 2-year contract with the Pats. I doubt we'll see him on the Pats next season though.

What can you say??? :D Love is blind.

I was pretty tired last night at the end of the game and didn't have the energy to figure out why the Colts called timeout.

But does anyone have a reason?

Also, Schottenheimer made a horrific call on 3rd and 5 when the Jets got the ball after that phony running into the kicker penalty. A bomb? Are you kidding me?

I was actually hoping the Jets would win because I'd rather see them than the Ravens. The Ravens would leave the Patriots bruised for the Steelers matchup. and, that's precisely why I want to see the Ravens win today, so that the Steelers and Ravens can go at it in a slugfest.

The Jet's D isn't bad either upstater...but not as good as the Ravens.

Would LOVE to see Suggs and the Ravens upset today! Hoooo-Doggy, that would make my day!

My understanding was that Caldwell assumed that they'd go for the FG and not attempt a long pass or a run. Obviously, he grossly miscalculated.

Yea I'm with you. I'm pulling hard for KC. Matty Cassel, Vrabes and the rest of Patriot West :D...

I'm tired of people blaming Schottenheimer for the 3rd and five call. Sanchez had a guy running WIDE open down the field and also had the check down if the play wasn't there. Every time you design a play and the outcome is the best case scenario your QB has to make the throw. Sanchez couldn't.
