Re: Pats v. Jets: Isn't this the matchup we wanted?

is there saftey jim back?

No he went on IR so he's done for the year. With that said though they will be much better prepared since they lost him the Friday before our game with them.

Re: Survey says . . .

Hell yeah, I'd rather play Nacho than Peyton Manning.

We own the Jets.

BB is so far in their heads after we beat crushed them by 30 points last time we met.

Not kidding. I expect a cakewalk. Sanchez was horrendous in Indy.

The Jets coming to foxboro

It will be cold.
We have way more weapons thenthe Colts

We dont get run over and we can run the ball

Re: Survey says . . .

The Jets are one of the two teams that we lose this season. Yes, we are different, but not every game you get 2 bad punts, awful kicking and all that stuff

Re: The Jets coming to foxboro

As much as I would like another blow-out, I doubt its gonna happen and I expect a dog fight!

Why not?? What has changed to make you feel we lost our mojo and cannot beat them down once again??

Seriously, do you really think the jets are going to hold us to a couple of TD's, do you really think they can keep up with our offense TD for TD?? Nobody else has all season, so relax.

As long as we don't hand them the game, we will prevail, rather easily. Maybe not 45-3, how about 45-17.

I am so happy right now:

1) BB and Ernie Adams don't have to wait to 8:00pm tomorrow night to start the final gameplanning.

2) Now Cromartie costs the Jets a #2.

3) I wanted no part of the Ravens. Now I can actually root for them tomorrow so that the following week they and the Steelers can beat each others' brains out.

:ugh: We also tuned them up 45-3 last time we played them. Are you honestly trying to make the case that a 42 point difference was due to "2 bad punts, awful kicking and all that stuff"?

Pretty much sums it up. I don't expect 45-3, but Jets didn't scare me tonight. LdT was feeling it in the dome tonight; cold weather is a different story.

I'm nervous. We could lose this game: their running attack looked great in the second half, division rivals always play out a bit different and are tougher, Bart Scott could cheapshot Brady/Welker/Branch/Woodhead for the 45-3 beatdown.

If our team comes out flat we're toast. I am not trying to Chicken Little or Doom N' Gloom, but this game concerns me.

I must admit, I'm a little nervous. I have a bad feeling the Jets are going to beat New England, the Chiefs are going to be Balt and Pit. Jets beat Chiefs. Jets beat Seattle. That would be a nightmare.

I think you should be more worried about a cheap shot from Terrell Suggs, if you're worried about cheap shots.

Forecast shows rain/snow for next Sunday. ESPN talking about the matchup lol.

They beat us in the first game, what makes you think they can't do it again?

As well you should be. A lot of people are already taking this game too lightly. The Jets are, by far, the team that's most familiar with us in the playoffs and it will certainly be tougher than the last game was. However, there are just as many reasons to be positive about our prospects going into this game as well.

I am very much looking forward to this game. 7 days cannot go fast enough.

I hope we win by a blowout again. I hate the Jets.

Time to take care of business next Sunday. Time to whoop those Jets and get them back to dreaming about their "good old days" of Joe Namath.

LETS GO PATS!!!

Rumor is that Revis has not had a single penalty all season, any one out there please confirm.

Just gotta hope the line is ready to go. If wilfork has a big game pats are taking this for sure. I expect a closer game Patriots 24, Jets 14.

I agree. I see the Jets having a game plan exactly like they did in the second half tonight, running the ball almost every play, taking time off the clock and limiting the Patriots offenses time on the field. This could be an issue for the Patriots because of their lack of depth on the defensive line. In the Packers game it was an issue with players getting gassed and their play being effected. The Patriots DL is the key to this weeks game.
