Converted Fan!

It has been very rough for me these past 15 years but im ready to move on, I was a miami dolphins fan but by default, my father was a dolphins fan and i was born into it i have never had a choice to decide who I wanted to follow as a fan and i cant keep watching that train wreck hopeing that one day they start doing things like the pats! im not comeing over because of the wins im comeing because of how u guys go about your business season after season im hopeing for a warm reception! and this should be a proud moment for all pats fans one less fins fan around. Former Finheaven ID Papahotel no longer assosiated with them and all my dolphins gear has been boxed up and given to my dad! And there is a post under miami dolphins forum titled "thats it im gone, going to new england because if you cant beat em join em" stateing my resignation!

I think when you're converted it will be tougher for you to be in to it as much or care as much as we do.....but I guess some people do it. Here's to you becoming a full blown diehard Pats fan

My son was a big Moss fan so when Moss was traded to the Pats it was awesome for me and my son to be watching and cheering for the same team. Now that Moss is gone my son is a bigger Patriots fan then a Moss fan so we are still having fun.

Yeah i can understand more people joining up the team is doing great. But when your first post is calling someone out for their timing on joining its more than a little hypocritical. In the last year there have been a lot of new faces such as yourself, but you (for example) couldn't have seen this season turning out the way it has back in sep.

Are you sure you didn't come over so you could put the letter E in the middle of easy-to-spell words that don't contain a letter E?

By the way...how do you just quit being a fan of one team and switch to another team? I mean how can you even do that? Use the Ottawa Senators for example. Ottawa is about 4 hours from Toronto and 2.5 hours from Montreal. People in that area cheered for Montreal and Toronto and the real, worthwhile fans still do. But then you had these people who decided that because they lvie closer to Ottawa, they would cut ties with Toronto and Montreal and become Sens fans. How can someone do that? How can you feel that it is OK? A lot of the fans who held out through the Leafs and Canadians struggles finally made the switch to the Sens after they made consistent deep playoff runs in the mid-2000s.

Switching teams is dispicable. You're a front-runner, and if the Pats struggle, you'll find an excuse to cheer for a different team. Brutal....absolutely brutal. I imagine there are many true Pats fans out there who don't want you.

Sorry, buddy. I'm sure you're a great guy. You certainly sound like it. But, IMO, I don't think there's any excuse for switching teams that you grew up a fan of. Especially to a team that's within the division.
