.............and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!

Gotta wonder if Tony boy feels like giving it his all when coaching anymore or just mailing it in.

"Hey, sorry Tony. You're, uh... yeah... you're still.... our guy. Friends?"

Re: Miami Dolphins schedule, then cancel, meeting with Eric Mangini

Dolphins sources insist the intent of the meeting was not to interview Mangini for the team's head-coaching position, but instead to pick his brain as a ``consultant'' who has ``knowledge of the division.''

Eric Mangini, the new Bill Parcells? :eek:

Re: Miami Dolphins schedule, then cancel, meeting with Eric Mangini

I can't believe how fast the Dolphins have gone from being the young upshot contender to being the joke of the league. The playoffs haven't even started yet and I am already almost ready to predict the Jets will finish in last place in the division in 2011.

The Parcells of sinking franchises I guess.

The AFC East is becoming littered with them as they shudder at the thought of a renewed run of dominance by the Pats. This is truly a great time to be a Pats fan; gotta enjoy it while it's here.

This is Michael Scott of The Office level management by the owner.

What a horrible organization the dolphins are...wow

Sorry .. Dolphins extend Sparano through 2013

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the Dolphins have extended head coach Tony Sparano's contract through 2013.
The new deal is an apology from owner Stephen Ross after he put Sparano and his coaching staff in a week-long holding pattern while trying to replace them with Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh didn't want to go to Miami, so Ross is back stuck with Sparano. Sparano is expected to serve an "expanded role in personnel decisions," while attempting to repair his relationship with the owner and GM Jeff Ireland, who both turned their back on him. Yeah, trying to replace your coach then saying forget it always works well. Looks like Dave Wannsted.

Can you explain to me why....
Sporano=tank
Harbaugh=success

And can you explain to me why....
It is important that a coach feels "important"

I don't think anyone could possibly make you understand this.

So the owner has no confidence in the coach, the players know he's a second choice and the GM and he don't get along.

Seems like a formula for success to me.

He must be jacked and pumped.

The Dolphins are a joke. 'Nuff said.

Re: Miami Dolphins schedule, then cancel, meeting with Eric Mangini

Mr. Mangini, this is called the Bay Bridge. It goes from San Francisco to Oakland, Calif. Buy the season pass, it's cheaper---

Don't take the tunnel--

I hope that Al Davis passes on some of that virgin blood he's been drinking (according to Chiefs fans) to Bill Belichick so he can live forever.
