there is prob a good chance of it

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

Can we edit the title to "Speculation: Favre to work for ESPN."

Or is this an actual news item somewhere?

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

I heard it is required to have a picture sent with your official employment application to ESPN, which Favre failed to do.
He caused quite a stir when he told one of the interviewers, "No problem, I can text you a picture right now.":D

Well this is going to cause great confusion at ESPN since Brett renamed l'il Brett "Ed Werder". :D

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

Dead Fahve is toxic for now. Even for ESPN.

But eventually, he'll surface, to be sure.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

If Favre is smart (and the jury is out on that) he'll lay low, settle his affairs and disappear for a couple of years, I hope, I am all Favre'd out, been Favre'd out for a few years now.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

ESPN has been working for Favre for the past 15 years.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

Wise career choice...
1. Lots of hot chicks work at ESPN
2. ESPN has access to advanced hi-tech video equipment and CGI to 'enlarge' photos
3. He can get his balls washed daily directly on site by the staff

I was going to make a post and then I reached yours.

I have nothing to add ... nail meet head .... you nailed :p it.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

The thread title is misleading.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

That'd be awesome if he got his own half hour segment everyday where he just talked about himself the whole time. And showed pictures of his injuries, etc.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

In my crystal ball I can see ESPN coming back from a commercial, with Rachel Nichols or Hannah Storm having messed-up hair and Brett having lipstick on his face...

I don't think it will happen. The breaking point will be wardrobe requirements and Favre doesn't own a suit or tie, only jeans, T-shirts and worn-out baseball caps. Plus, he only shaves once a week and won't be allowed to chew tobacco on the set.

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

OP - can you change the thread title to indicate that you are speculating instead of sounding as if you are reporting a fact?

I have no love for this old fart Favre and was disgusted seeing the thread, thinking that BSPN was going to a new low.

And then I realize that you are trying to be funny. :bricks: What a waste of two minutes....

Ha.. ha.. Don't forget .. Favre is endorsing Wrangler jeans and is probably contemplating on a new line of jeans .. no fly jeans. Just whip it out when needed .. real, comfortable.. want to text and drive ? No problem. Just buy a pair... the special loop on the jeans will hold your camera position at the right angle.

 If it's ESPN, they'd probably let him go out there naked if he pleased. Come to think of it some of them might want him to

Re: OT: Favre to work for ESPN

He's overqualified; he had his sex scandal before he worked at ESPN.
