Great idea Miami, Saban worked out well for you guys.

Gawd wheres Aqua4ever i need a good laugh.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Harbaugh's career in the NFL has Spurrier written all over it.

Its sickening how they have treated Tony Sparano in this whole mess.

I don't think Harbaugh has come close to having the resumee of Spurrier or Saban. i don't get why teams are willing to throw this much money at him.

Jayson Taylor throws Sparano under the bus:
Wednesday, also speaking on WQAM-560, Taylor took a break from playoff preparations with the Jets to lend considerable heft to Williams' concerns.

"I played for Tony for one year [2009] in that kind of system and atmosphere," Taylor said on The Joe Rose Show. "What Ricky was saying is true in a lot of senses. It's a tough work environment."

Taylor credited the Dolphins coach with being "very detailed," but said Sparano and his staff can take things to an extreme.

Alot of these guys tried to be Tuna and it just doesn't work out for them. BB learned that too.

The owner of the Dolphins wants to have Lakers East, yet he's in a division with the Pats (the best) and the Jest (the loudest). He's desperate for attention and needs "a big name". Harbaugh is hyped to high hell because, despite Cowher et al, the coaching candidates are thin when looking at the number of openings (a reason I believe a lot of the "hot seat coaches" have been resigned this year).

Desperation + Hype = Dolphins hire Harbaugh and pay him $8M

Taylor offered these quotes as he drove his Ferrari, on his way to catch the team as they bused from the Jets practice facility to a local Foot Locker where Rex Ryan conducted a team building opportunity.

NFL.com news: Dolphins move to forefront of Harbaugh hunt; 49ers mull options

The Dolphins went from 1-15 to 11-5 and an AFC East Title, which was absolutely amazing, regardless of Brady being out.

Now two of the biggest keys of that turnaround (Parcells and Sparano) will be gone.

Advice to Harbaugh - take the money and run!
The team may be an armpit right now. But Miami is a pretty nice party town with great beaches. Looks like Harbaugh will be 'taking his talents' to South Beach. LOL.

His brother being one of top 3 coaches in NFL is a good reference point.

If he accepts the job and says that in his presser, I will literally laugh my butt of.

In all seriousness, I give Jim some credit. After he retired, he paid his dues and won. Hes the son of a coach and as we know, those types tend to do pretty well in the NFL.\

With that said, he is not worth $8m a year.

Just because his brother is a good coach in the NFL doesn't mean he will be. If it were my money i wouldn't make a 40 million dollar bet on it.

I actually like Harbaugh.. He is a good coach. I hope he ends up in San Fran. so they can be decent again.
