I was wondering if this was meant as an inside joke, let's pick replacement players from teams that have the highest odds of reaching the Super Bowl.

Can you all stop saying that they won't be playing in the Pro Bowl because they are practicing for the SB.

WE ARE NOT THROUGH THE DIVISIONAL GAME YET, TAKE IT ONE GAME AT A TIME!

No, they just go down the list and take the next highest vote-getter.

So, do you think the Patriots can beat the bye?

Sorry bjge was good but did not deserve the pro bowl. He had a nice antowain smith like season. Even chris johnson didnt make the pro bowl.

Not sure why you're being a downer about BJGE. But he didn't make the pro bowl if that makes you happy. *shrugs*

I don't see him being a downer. BJGE was awesome for the team, and had na excellent season, especially for where he started it. But he wasn't probowl worthy, not THIS season. Well, not probowl worthy by comparison, and he may never be. The AFC has some very talented young running backs that he'd have to out perform, and many of those RB's will get several more touches because they don't have Tom Brady or Peyton Manning at QB.

TB is the teams best player, and as long as he is playing at this level, we will probably never have a pro bowl RB. I love the balance we had this year but I think we will only ever run ENOUGH to keep defenses honest as long as TB is running the show. I'd love to see BJGE at 1k every season, and I love that we trust him on the 1-3 yard line enough to punch it in. I think he deserves probowl honors but i hope he's too busy playing in the SB every season until he retires. :D

Actually playing in a probowl is a consolation prize for players who had a fine season and didn't get to play in the Super Bowl. That's the way it should be.

Excellent, let's hope they will be too busy to attend, BTW, Does anyone else think playing the Pro Bowl BEFORE the Super Bowl is foolish? I do, I mean they'll be a number of players named that won't go or can't go.

Shhh, be careful. If a few fans on an Internet message board get overly confident, it could RUIN THE SEASON.

I'm not saying this is the be all and end all, but Football Outsiders had BJGE and Woodhead both among the top five RBs this year, on an absolute (i.e., total contribution over 16 games, not per play) basis.

Not in the AFC.

In the NFL.

Both of them. (BJGE for his running, Woodhead about a 50-50 split between catching and running.)

Yeah but probowl voters don't look at football outsiders. I won't argue their success on the field, but probowl = popularity and big numbers. As far as RB's go, more yards = more probowls.

Not with q QB riding a kiddie scooter.

You guys think Pollard going into Brady's knee was bad....wait till you see what knee to pavement will cause

Highest odds equals one less game to play in order to reach the Super Bowl game versus three games for those teams who didn't get a bye. All I meant was that New England is more likely to reach the big game than other playoff teams in the AFC not Pittsburgh. And certain people on here just blow everything you write out of proportion.
