Reiss on Crumpler's Gift to the Kid - Pretty Cool

Brady Gagne is so adorable! He reminds me of Macaulay Culkin for some reason. So awesome of Alge. Loved seeing that in the game.

Only question left is how expensive of a gift that is going to be for Crumpler.

Under the rules of the No Fun League that is a fineable offense.

Wow, a very touching story. Awesome.

For Rob, who grew up in Leominster, Mass., and works for the software company eClinicalworks in Westborough, Mass., the moment had special meaning because of the challenges he and his wife Mielle went through before Brady was born.

“Being alive is really a miracle,” he said. “We feel blessed with him.”

In part because of those challenges, the couple chose the name Brady, with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in mind.

“We both love everything that Tom Brady is about, his work ethic,” Rob said. “For us, our son Brady is a part of that, because we worked so hard to have him. Nothing was easy. So when he was born, Brady seemed like the perfect name.”

I considered 'Brady' as a name when my wife and I were going through lists of names. We ended up with a girl, so didn't talk too much about it.

I was wondering about this as well, but can you imagine the bad press the league will take for fining for this? I mean why not just have Goddell take some ice cream cones away from 5 year olds and stomp on them followed by pushing some other kids into the mud? He'll end up looking like Scrooge, best case.

Great Karma for Crumps. A ring lies in his future.

I felt bad for the kid next to him. It looked like he thought he was getting it and then Brady got the ball.

Crumpler to Brady!

The kid was beaming; awesome. A Joe Greene Moment.

I was wondering whether the kid could appreciate the true specialness of the moment considering how young he is.

Shows how big a fan his father is naming him Brady. I will also name my son Brady when I get one.

That was a great moment in the game. The kid had a look of shock on his face. Priceless!

Don't have a kid named Brady, but a dog...does that count???

Our qb of the future. Anyone else think of that phone commercial or w/e it was with the kid catching the ball in the crowd?

Which is why I feel as good for the dad and the mom as I do for the son. Sounds like it was a nice moment for that family.

That was awesome of Alge to do. If he gets fined, the Patriots should send out a press release about it and give Alge a raise of however much the fine is.

My wife and I wanted names that could be Italian or Filipino, so Brady was out.

Born to be a Pats fan, awesome! I guess he would have been born in 2003?

You know, the rate of little Bradys born in Massachusetts correlates strongly with the Patriots' performance.
