Loved what I saw today from the Pats reserve players.

I think that Price and Tate showed enough today to say that the Pats won't be looking at a WR in the draft next year.

I don't see them looking at a RB in the draft unless it's late.

Ojinakka may have earned himself a contract going forward.

Cheers Fans and Friends!

Great Season, As fans we have a bye week next week then we can look forward to a positive Post season Run

Congrats to BJGE for a great season and getting 1000 yards.

Re: Cheers Fans and Friends!

Glorious.

Now let's see them extend this 8 game winning streak to 11 in the post-season.

:rocker:

Re: ** The OFFICIAL Pats/Dolphins Postgame thread

Taylor Price looked really good...

Re: ** The OFFICIAL Pats/Dolphins Postgame thread

The illegal hit to the head call on Wilfork was total BS..

As was the PI call on Butler.. Marshall was STOPPED and so was Butler.. Just because his hands were out doesn't mean he interferred with Marshall..

Other notes.. Ohrnberger played well at the RG position. So did Wendell.

I don't see the Pats bringing Page back.

Taylor Price played extremely well. In fact, on the plays that weren't run calls when he was on the field (which were at least 3) he got open every time.

Tate continues to recover from his knee issue.. He's clearly a longstrider. But he can get open.. As he proved today on the deep TD Catch.

Defense moves into top 10 in terms of points allowed.

Edelman could be a major weapon in the playoffs in the return game he's been dangerous lately.

So true. Edelman's only issue this year seems to have been that there just aren't enough touches to go around.. Especially with Gronk, Hernandez and Crumpler seeing so much time in multi-TE sets.

Another great win by the Patriots. 14-2 regular season record, is certain better than I thought going into the season.

BB set a record for most 14 game winning seasons.BJGE with 1000 yards. TFB with no picks. No noticeable injuries except Woodhead who should be fine in a couple of weeks. And Taylor Price looked good in his first active game.:rocker:

I noticed t LeVoir went out and he didn't return. I found that interesting since he was doing well at RT for the few snaps he was out there.

Not sure if he got injured or not.. Something to watch for as OT depth is a concern with Kaczur already gone for the season.

Re: **The official Patriots vs Dolphins POST game thread**

I loved the fact that this team came out focused on both sides of the ball and took care of business. They've had lapses in concentration earlier in the season, but today they showed they were taking it seriously even when it meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.

This defense continues it's second-half dominance and should move into the top 10 for scoring defense.

The B-team offense looked really good too. Hoyer was very impressive, though his first appearance was a bit ugly. Price looked good, and Edelman showed last season wasn't a fluke.

Lots to be happy about after a 38-7 victory and a 14-2 regular season.

Price looked bigger than i thought, would probably be a viable X/Y guy if and when he gets a full preseason and TC behind him

Hoyer looked sharp too. Looked miles better than both the Miami QB's and he was throwing to the scrubs

I think that Edelman, Tate, and Price proved that they aren't "scrubs". The depth that the Pats have at WR right now is probably the best it's been since the Pats had Branch, Brown, Patten and Givens.. The difference is that Gronk and Hernandez are better than Fauria and Graham were.

I love the fact that we won this game 38-7 without Welker, Branch and Hernandez. We are gonna be on fire in that divisional games with our offense back in full force!

Agree there, was trying to make the point that Hoyer would look even better given Welker, Branch, Hernandez etc

Price i think looks really interesting for next year

Was saying to a buddy, Price's size and speed remind me a little of Vincent Jackson. Still far too early to judge his skill, but physically he looks to have everything needed to succeed.

Just from the highlights I have seen; I thought Hoyer looked good, and the TD to Tate was a fantastic throw, especially with the pressure there!

And while most were wondering what had happened to Edelman, seems he just isn't getting the playing time, and when he is, seems to know what to do with the ball! Just what teams want, another threat :)

Haven't seen anything of Price yet, but sounds to have looked promising!

The question is how do you get him playing time if everyone's healthy?

Jackson is 6'5 and 230 llbs.

Price is 6'0 and 205 lbs. They are nothing alike in terms of size.

The comparison of Price to Givens is much better.

I thought Moore looked really good too...strip tackle and alot of pressures, probably should have had 1 or 2 sacks

If he has a good preseason and has the chemistry with Tom I think he may pass Tate
