Well, I know that this was his first action of the year, but I thought he played great in his time out there. Seems to run great routes and has really nice hands. Shows promise for next year.

Yeah I like the fact that we potentially have another threat at WR going into the playoffs!

As I mentioned in the post-game thread, Price was open on every play that wasn't a run call. One of which, when the Pats were in the Red Zone, Price made an out cut and would have easily gotten the 1st down and possibly the TD.

The only thing I saw that he needs to work on is his run blocking.

I think the run blocking will come. It was one of the things he did well in college. I was really impressed with his play today though, showed a lot of promise.

Looked like a less cut Givens out there to me.

him and tate show ALLOT of promise

If needed; I just don't know who you sit if everyone's healthy. The depth is amazing.

I instantly thought about Givens, but he still has a ways to go. Givens was a superb blocker, and a very well rounded receiver.

Depends. If were looking to go deep on someone then Price could be someone to bring in on 4 WR set....Welker, Branch, Price, Gronk/Hernandez

Price would have single coverage and with that speed he could be dangerous.

The main reason I thought of Givens was in the patterns he was running and his running style. That vertical leap reception was also classic DG.

The kid showed well today.

Price looked good to me. It looked like they kept it simple for him - he caught a couple of slant routes.

Hard to know anything after only one game, but he looked good. He did not look out of place, ran well, cut well, got off the line well, showed good hands, looked like the "long strider" type. Not as tall and strong as Marshall, but still was quite impressive.

I have no predictions for his future, but Price has made significant progress (esp w his route running) since his mediocre preseason. Pretty good sign if he improves without seeing the field.

He's better than Chad Jackson. :p

Mentioned this in t'other thread but if he has a good preseason and has the chemistry with Tom I think he may pass Tate next year

The guy looked fast out there. His movements were tight and had good hands. He actually looks to have better WR skills than Tate.

Hello friends, great start to 2011. Shame that this game was not Live here. I had to put up with a lousy Clevland- Pitts. game. How on earth did that team beat us ! The Browns looked so bad it seemed they gave up on their Coach. Anyway nice to read about young Price. Reading all this looks like we won't draft any R with our top Picks. That's great because I think we could make this D the very best in the League if we do well with our picks. Congrats. Go Pats.

Vast improvement over his preseason showing. That leaping catch was very impressive. Depending on match ups in the playoffs wouldn't shock me to see him active over Fred Taylor.

Although all his catches were slant routes (or am I wrong?), he played really well and showed a lot of promise. He looks really fast and has great hands. His leaping ability was nice and he could run his routes. I am really excited about him. I don't think he will be active in the playoffs as he did not have many snaps with Brady today.

The coach and team was very much "up" for this game and their coach pulled out all the tricks. BB usually leaves them when they can only be used once (live special teams vs Miami) or in situations that are needed (like winning the playoffs).

You can only go to the bag o' trivks so often and BB uses them well.
