BB is a historian of the game and we've seen him call various plays throughout his tenure here just as tribute. What plays do you think could be called in this game?

Another dropkick? A Brady punt, like Cassel's? What other interesting plays are there?

The Cassel punt—on third down, no less—was absolute genius, but it wasn't just for the heck of it: it was a brilliant strategy for dealing with ridiculous weather conditions.

I predict a pass from Julian Edelman on a gadget play. Didn't he used to play QB at Kent state?

Hopefully Brady's INT free streak remains intact though. *knocks on wood*

One of the things I will remember about the 2008 season!

I don't know why, but it just sticks there!

how about the entire Dolphin retro offense?

Hope so too. DO you think Edelman might get to run some wildcat? Give the fins a taste of their own medicine.

That would be pretty funny. But I haven't seen the Pats utilize the wildcat yet although you'd think Edelman would be suitable. Perhaps it's because Edelman is more of a pass catcher than a RB/QB type?

behind the back pass

I'd like to see Woodhead run he wildcat. Have him back there next to Brady and get the direct snap and either pass or run. Give our next opponent something to have to plan for.

I want Welker to kick a fieldgoal.

Big Vince will take a goal line shotgun snap and hit Seabass (tackle eligible) in the corner of the endzone for a 2 pt. conversion to put the Pats up 22-0 in the 1st qtr. BB proceeds to moonwalk down the sideline where he belly bumps Big Vince.

My sense is the Pats are more serious/determined this year and won't try anything out if the ordinary.

Yeah. This team isn't about the past.

Plus, there's that low team TO total to think about. Don't mess with that due to a gimmick play ...

I don't think they'll waste any of their gimmick players in a meaninless game.

Bicycle kick punt...Zoltan is from Romania(?), I know he has some soccer skills

If there's anything like that for Edelman, I'd like for them to save it for the playoffs, no need to tip off the Pats next opponent.

 If someone could make this with CGI, I'd pay good money to see it.

I guess the play-action rollout wasn't available? :D
