What time and day does everyone think the pats will play?

If I had to guess, I'd bet that Kraft pushes for the Saturday night (1/15) slot if it makes sense from a time zone perspective. It's not his call, but he chairs the Communications committee!

Thats what im hoping or thinking atleast .

I hope we have the Saturday game. I want it first so we can get it over and done with!

Prime time on Sat. All of their div games coming off a bye have been on Sat nite. Even their WC game vs JAX in 05 was a Sat night.

Saturday is the best strategy wise. Our opponent would have 1 day less of rest and if we win, we have 1 extra day to prepare for AFCC. Every bit helps

Anything with the Patriots will be instantly slotted into the prime time slot on Saturday night, always has, always will be when they're on top. People around the country outside of NE want to see the ship go down with the captain. Lock it up, it will be Saturday night prime time, regardless of the opponent.

I actually prefer the 1:00 or 4:15 slot, oh well.

Pulling for Oak to beat KC this week to force the Jets to go to Indy and to give us the chance to play KC/Ravens winner, that's the matchup I want most in the first round.

I think the networks swap the Saturday night game every year. I think this year it is Fox's turn, so it will either be Saturday afternoon or Sunday. I am hoping for Saturday, but would not be surprised if it is Sunday.

I could be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure in 2004 the Jets-Steelers played their divisonal playoff game Saturday night. Same with 2006 Colts-Ravens. Those were even numbered years like this year so it wouldn't be a year to year swap, because in 2001/ 2003/2007 we played Saturday night.

I like the 12:30 game, I like to get into town that morning, see the game, fly out that night. It's pathetic getting to a hotel at like 9 pm, and sleeping until 5 am so I can catch an early morning flight.

You are right. Div 2004 Colts/Pats was Sunday @4:30 and the div gave vs Den in 05 was Sat nite.

I hope its a night game, so I get to tailgate all day :D

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but the AFC Championship game is scheduled for Sun., Jan. 23, 6:30 PM ET CBS (and the NFC game is at 3:00 on FOX) this is from NFL.com.

I think K.C wants the jets so they will be playing to beat the raiders.K.C wouldnt want to face the ravens.I think K.C can beat the jets.

Yes, not to get ahead of ourselves* but I LOVE the 6:30pm Sunday night game. You get warmed up with an NFC game and then watch (hopefully) the Pats play.

*I take NOTHING for granted, but I like the opportunity before us.

i think traditionally they give the AFC 1 seed the saturday game...

i would looove the chiefs to be the 4th seed and then upset the ravens in the wild card. then if indy can take care of business against the jets, it would be pats v. KC in the divisional.

I like Saturday for the divisional round. They'll have had plenty of rest by then, and if they win, they get the extra day compared to the AFC championship opponent.
