God damn, NFL put a lump of coal in our stocking this year with that awful game.

THE CARDINALS?!

How the HELL could you think the Cardinals would be a good team this year after losing...

-Kurt Warner
-Anquan Boldin
-Karlos Dansby
-Antrell Rolle

And we have to yet again watch the Vikings on a prime-time game? God damn it.

Your welcome

What a piss poor set of primetime games except for NO-ATL which should be great.

How in the world did Eagles-Vikings get flexed? Outside of Philadelphia how many people are actually looking forward that that game

All much more important games, all involving teams still alive for playoffs.

I guess they're hoping for Favre to play and for it to be his national "farewell" game.

I think that this game (Dallas-Arizona on Saturday) is similar to Thanksgiving games: the NFL and the networks agree that a highly competitive game is unnecessary. They have a captive audience, so almost any NFL game will do okay in the ratings; at most, just put one popular or quality team on. That way they can save the best teams/games for Sunday.

It may not work for us the fans, but from a business standpoint the NFL and networks are probably making the right decision.

The chances of Jacksonville winning the AFCS appear to have grown slimmer. The Colts get Joseph Addai back this week, while it looks like the Jaguars will be without MJD.

Joseph Addai, Shane Lechler are questionable | National Football Post
Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai participated fully in practice today for the third time this week and is expected to return afeer missing eight games with a nerve injury in his neck.

He's listed as questionable.

Maurice Jones-Drew out with knee injury | National Football Post
Jacksonville Jaguars star running back Maurice Jones-Drew isn't expected to play Sunday due to a knee injury that has sidelined him in practice all week.

Listed as doubtful on the injury report, Jones-Drew had a rough game against the Indianapolis Colts where he was limited to 46 rushing yards.

Jones-Drew has never missed a game, but this is expected to be the week because of his knee problems.

Jones-Drew had a lateral meniscus issue during the preseason.

The Chargers chances of keeping pace with the Chiefs just got a little tougher: they'll be without Antonio Gates and LB Stephen Cooper, plus WRs Malcolm Floyd and Patrick Crayton are doubtful for their game at Cincinnati.

Chargers rule out Antonio Gates, Stephen Cooper | National Football Post
As expected, the San Diego Chargers ruled out star tight end Antonio Gates again due to a torn plantar fascia in his foot.

Gates isn't expected to return until the postseason and Randy McMichael will start again in his place.

The Chargers also ruled out linebacker Stephen Cooper with a knee injury.

Wide receivers Patrick Crayton (wrist) and Malcom Floyd (hamstring) are doubtful.

Linebacker Larry English (foot) is questionable as well as offensive guard Scott Mruczkowski (ankle).

Linebacker Antwan Applewhite (ankle) is probable, as is fullback Jacob Hester (illness), running back Ryan Mathews (illness), linebacker Brandon Siler (ribs), guard Louis Vasquez (neck) and wide receiver Kelley Washington (hip).

I know this is looking way ahead, but as far as Super Bowl implications go, I think Pats fans should be cheering for the Giants to beat the Packers this weekend... for two reasons.

One is that obviously we want another shot at the Giants in the Super Bowl, and also, I think the Pack are very dangerous, on any field, and pose probably the hardest challenge for us. They really impressed me last weekend... that defense is just non-stop, always getting through with guys from somewhere... plus a strong secondary at every position. And with Rodgers that O would be even better obviously. Whoever loses this game needs help to make the playoffs.

Good point.

Trying to find a reason to care about tonights game. Guess I'll root for the Cowboys because they have a chance to finish with the same record (7-9) as our 1st round pick Raiders.

I'm rooting for the Cowboys D to make 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions returned for TD's whilst keeping Arizona to 0 points.... yes it's Fantasy playoff time ;). The only reason I am watching it is because it's football.

I hope this game is better than what we were subjected too thursday night. I don't know what was worse that night, the game or the dynamic duo of Theisman and Millen? Poor Bob Papa, I feel for you man...

Billick and Mora on the nfl.com set instead of the other idiots? Tell me it's true! They can NOT be worse.

I can't believe I'm about to watch John Skelton (Who???) vs. Jon Kitna.

Oh well, better than some of these crappy Christmas movies.

in terms of skillset... Skelton=KOC?

I think my opponent in my dynasty 3rd place game has DRC.

One of my FF teams is in a championship match up and I've got the Cardinals as my defence...:rocker:

I like Billick as a commentator, he adds something to the broadcasts, too bad it's usually the crappy game nobody wants to watch.

Yeah, this game sucks. False start. Bad throw. Dropped INT. Running into the Kicker penalty. All in the first four plays I watched.

Quality...

This is pretty much a CFL game...
