Bills fans probably thinking "Damn now I don't have an excuse to not watch the game". jk Classy move by that guy.

Merry Christmas Mr. Salvatore!

I hope all those who called for tickets make it to the game.

Wow, that is an awesome move right there. Class act.

Bills fans will probably repay him by pissing on his lawn and setting it on fire.

Wow, what a gesture. Bills fans might learn something from this guy. You have to support your team when they are down. There are plenty who will support a winning franchise but the ones who do it when things are not going well are the super fans imo.

Indeed. I remember the long, difficult years past before the dawn of our own Golden Age. You have to stand by your team through the good and the bad.

As a resident of Toronto I cannot thank Mr. Salvatore enough! Now I can relax in the comfort of my living room, cheering on the Pats.
This is great! Thank you sir.

Why would they be blacked out? They're finally starting to play well!

Anyway, it's cool what he did. Rich bastard xD.

Bills are gonna lose though.

I also remember those days well. A buddy and I used to travel to a bar in Worcester to watch our blacked-out games because the Worcester cable system had a Springfield station which could carry the games because it's outside the 75 mile black-out radius. Seems like a million years ago.

Now that(italics) is a fan.....good for him!

Indeed. In Toronto, it sucks getting so many Bills games as the local game, and then the one time I actually want to watch it because of the Pats, it wasn't going to be on. So thank you Mr. Salvatore.

But it is a great gesture from a local guy giving back to the community.

Are you saying that Toronto is part of the Bills' black out area?:confused:

The black-out area is anything within the 75-mile radius, and the Toronto TV range extends all the way to Fort Erie, Ontario, which is part of the 75-mile radius, according to this page:

List of Bills Toronto Series broadcasters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And just for laughs, while looking this stuff up, I came across some info on the CFL playing the NFL in some exhibition games a long time ago. They played 4 between 1959 and 1961, with the NFL winning 3 (Chicago Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and St. Louis Cardinals all beating the Toronto Argonauts).

The only loss? Buffalo Bills losing to Hamilton. The Bills even lose against CFL teams! :singing:

Yes it does!

And after I bought 5 too.

Bills fans do support the team. Come on. They get as many fans through the doors as the Patriots do each year. When you see that Ralph Wilson hasn't sold 7,000 seats, you have to realize that the stadium seats 10k more than Gillette. Buffalo's is one of the biggest stadiums in the league.

I want you to check out stadiums across the league tomorrow. Dec. 26th, the day after Christmas, a tough sell. I was going to the game with 4 people who live in Buffalo, now we're down to me and one other. One guy is in Chicago and the other in Philly for Christmas, plus my younger brother the Bills fan isn't even coming up like he does every year.

from Ottawa, and the game seems to be in a blackout mode anyways. CBS is showing infomercials, and all other stations showing football are playing the other games.
This is a red-card situation :bricks:
