Healthy defensive linemen is the one real key to the playoffs.

That is by far the team's #1 problem. We will have Spikes back, but we also need a defensive lineman or two. As of now, I don't real confident about the health of Wright, Pryor, Brace or Deaderick. Without them Love is our NT. Wilfork and Warren are our DE's. And the lates street free agent is the emergency backup.
=======

Some are concerned about the situation at RG (a little late). However, Wendell is OK.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't get the sense that those guys have terrible injuries.

Assuming a win against the Bills or a loss by the Jets, they've got 3 weeks to get healthy before the first playoff game. They should be ready to go.

I don't understand your confidence. For example, Wright has been out for over a month.

WTF is up with Wright anyways? Was he concussed? Did he suffer a neck injury?? It's been so long I can't remember... was I concussed?

I know it's not a science, but if a guy doesn't get IR'd, I figure he'll be OK for the playoffs. And given that the Pats are looking for the #1 seed, they've probably been a bit more conservative about things.

Only two regular season game left and he hasn't been IRd...

Brace was reported back at practice today, though only limited participation(probably ready next week IMO)

Thinking of starting several separate "Made of Glass" threads for Wright, Pryor, Brace & Deaderick to up my thread start count which is pitifully low. What say you?

Healthy offensive lines and defensive lines are always the key.

Moore has been a pleasant surprise as a sub......will be nice if he fits in...wonder who they cut when Spikes returns?

Not sure how I overlooked a healthy Wright and Deaderick as being the key to the playoffs. For some reason I thought the key to a successful playoff run for the Patriots was a healthy Tom Brady.

Yes but defense usually makes stops come the playoffs.This defense will need to play very solid come the playoffs.They have been terrible on 3rd downs.

There's no sense in rushing him back if we don't need to. If he's still limited, let him sit out the Buffalo game. We need that man healthy for the playoffs. Our run defense really took a crap in the Green Bay game vs. what it was with Brace and Spikes playing.
