Michael Silver:‘T-Sizzle’ heats up rivalry with Brady

I can't recall the last time I saw one professional athlete so publicly obsessed with another professional athlete, as Suggs is with Brady.

Agreed.

I'll give Suggs credit for being a very productive NFL player but this infatuation and public taunting of TB is over the top.

In grade school, when you had a crush on someone, you'd do some nasty things to her.

Damn, this guy is just getting pathetic.

jealousy is a female trait. :D

With this clown, I doubt getting ousted from the playoffs by the Pats will shut him up.

His team has won nothing of consequence with him, yet he still can't stop talking.

Getting??? I think he's long past that stage at this point. :bricks:

He'll keep doing this as long as there are guys like Michael Silver out there willing to give him a microphone.

I'd welcome the Ravens in the playoffs--think the Pats would crush them.

I don't think 'rivalry' is the proper term for this. Usually rivalry means 2 sides emotionally involved and more even in terms of wins. The Colts I would consider a rival because they at least beat us a few times. The Steelers are a rival because although we've owned them, they have the most rings and 2 this decade which is the closest to us of all teams. And I never feel completely comfortable when going into a match with them either.

I think obsession is a more proper term for this

I hear you but there are different forms. Sox/Yankees was pretty one sided for about 86 years.

Jets/Pats is pretty intense and so is Pitt/Baltimore and you could say that the Pats and Steelers have been vastly superior.

Best line...

1. New England Patriots: Will Bill Belichick come up with a goal-line package featuring 313-pound Dan Connolly(notes) as a running back – a package that could be deployed when the Pats are near their own goal line?

That's true. Just in this case I've never really seen Brady take a shot at Suggs, other than one comment about alot of talk for 1 win in 9 years. Other than that, it's been all Suggs just won't shutup about Brady

Suggs is a pathetic douche-bag with a huge inferiority complex.

Yep. The only time to see this kind of one-sided bantering is in boxing.

Suggs= Clubber Lang.

He makes more headlines for his mouth than what he does on the field. Maybe Suggs will be a Jet soon.

As you can see, this is not always true. Just ask Suggs. :D

Jury's out. Wasn't he the guy using "Bring It On" references the last time he got frustrated by Brady's greatness?

Maybe it's the steroids.

The only thing that's sizzling with him are his brain cells.
