With two games left, here are my (and hopefully) reasonable seeds for the AFC playoffs:

1) Pats -- AFC East
2) Steelers -- AFC North
3) Kansas City Chiefs or the Chargers
4) Colts
5) Baltimore
6) Jets

If the above holds, the Jets travel to play the Chiefs or the Chargers and the Colts take on the Ravens. If the Jets win, in the Division round, I am assuming as the lowest surviving seed, they will then visit Foxboro. Something to look forward to. If the Jets lose, then NE gets the winner of the Ravens-Colts game.

What matchup are you looking forward to?

I'd rather play Jets over Ravens or Colts honestly.

Here's the way I hope it plays out:

Jets (6) def. Chiefs (3)
Colts (4) def. Baltimore (6)

Jets @ Patriots (Patriots def. Jets)
Colts @ Steelers (Steelers def. Colts)
Steelers @ Patriots (Patriots def. Steelers)

I'm nowhere near as scared about the Steelers as some people on this board.

I would rather play the Jets, Ravens, or Colts than the Chiefs. The Chiefs are another Giants of '07 with the David vs. Goliath story, not to mention our two former coordinators (anyone see what Mangini did to us?), our former quarterback, our former pro bowl linebacker, and a bunch of speedsters that could present big matchup problems for our defense.

At least with the Jets/Ravens/Colts, you are getting familiarity.

Yeah, thats a good route, especially seeing how they played yesterday. I don't fear the Steelers as much either, their offense is almost as bad as the Jets

Very interesting to see folks opinions on who to play.

Call me crazy, but if Baltimore comes here they will get beat.

I think a game with KC would be 17-10 Pats.

I'm fine with playing the Jets and Steelers

I still want zero part on playing the Colts.

I believe the Patriots can beat anyone that comes to Foxboro be it Jax, Colts, Chargers, Steelers, Jets, KC, Jag so I don't care about that.

I would love to see the Jets miss the playoffs entirely...not out of fear for them but starting off 9-2 and missing the playoffs with a 10-6 record would be epic.

I'm with you. The two teams I do not want to see (because of matchup concerns) are the Colts and Ravens. I'd love to have the Jets and Steelers in here.

I would be just fine with this, I hope this is how it all pans out!

always take the team with the better QB in the playoffs so the only team the pats do not not want to see but probably will is the colts. yesterday's jags loss was not a good result for the pats.

Doesnt matter who it is.You have 2 home games and u have to bring out ur best football come the playoffs. My worry is the defensive line

Yeah but you have to have a favored match over others. You really want to play Colts?

The colts dont scared me as much. You can put up points on them. Its about this team playing well and if they do that, then they can beat anyone.

We need to make sure the DL is back otherwise it may be a moot point. Even bb said as much.

I see your points and love your attitude but you are nuts not worrying about playing Manning with our young defense. We can put up points but Manning can't?

I'd take Steelers, Jets and Ravens before Colts. I hope Colts and Ravens get knocked out.

If we can get through the AFC only having to play the Jets and Steelers, I'd be pretty psyched. Everyone else in contention, other than maybe Jacksonville, makes me at least a little bit nervous. Then again, I'm probably just a worrier.

Other than KC the playoff game(s) should be a rematch.

I rather have it any other way.You have to play the best. The colts to me are not the same team.If you have the best record and you earned two playoffs games at home then u have to take advantage of it.Same goes for the Ravens.I would love to get some payback.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Titans win the AFCS (very very long shot, but apparently theoretically possible.)
