Did Tom Brady lose mvp votes to vick tonight???

pro bowl voting ebbs and flows

a month and half ago brady was a distant third (if) to vick and peyton

peyton starts sucking, media starts making a big deal, and his votes dwindle down to almost nothing

at the same time vick gets real hot (washington game) and everyone votes for him, he has an amazing lead

than in the past 6 games brady turns unreal, throws no picks, keeps throwing td's, starts to break records, and media starts talking....and brady becomes the #1 QB by a longshot

it will change by the coverage of each player, but this week it will probably be vick, however i do not believe this week alone will be enough, and Brady wil remain the #1 AFC qb in the pro bowl

unfortunately for us however we will NOT get to see him play in it :D

You play the #1 defense in the NFL your gonna lose a couple points. He get the points back over Miami/Buffalo and wins the MVP.

Incredible how short-sighted people are. Vick had a monster fourth quarter today. Brady has been dominating for the last eight weeks. Hopefully the sportswriters who are voting won't be as blind as some of you.

How many games are in a season? One? Or sixteen?

2 TDs
0 INTs
15/24 (62.5%)
110.2 QB Rating

4th quarter comeback vs. the #1 defense in the NFL.

Not too shabby.

The Patriots have a better record with less playmakers. As a leader and a player, Brady is probably more important to his team than Michael Vick is to the Eagles (they won with Kevin Kolb too). Still, Vick has had a remarkable comeback and I would love to see him win the MVP, if only to reward him for his efforts and to keep the MVP jinx away from Brady.

MVP for Vick, 4th ring for Brady. That's what I want

Yeah, we've been down the MVP road before, I couldn't care less who the MVP is really.

If Brady winning it is a big deal to you then be prepared for the worst. There is a lot of love out there for Vick at the moment.

If they give the MVP award to anyone other than Brady it will be a complete and utter JOKE. If it were Peyton Manning having the season number 12 is having there wouldn't even be a discussion.

Mike Vick sure has been impressive, but his team is LOADED with offensive talent and his team is 10-4, as opposed to the Patriots 12-2.

Brady has better stats, his team has a better record and he's done with an inexperienced group on offense. It's ridiculous to consider anyone else for the award. And stop with the "MVP jinx" crap. Plenty of MVP's have been on SB winning teams.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the NFL MVP has ever won the Super Bowl.

You are wrong. It's just been a long time since it happened. The last MVP to win a SB was Kurt Warner in 1999.

If Brady gets his 4th ring, I don't care who wins the MVP!

A kicker could win it for all i care :D

It's always week-to-week. It wasn't that long ago that Rivers was in the front of the discussion.

Even after taking my Homer glasses off and as good as Vick has been, I think Brady is still the MVP far and away. Besides even if they were neck & neck for the award to give it o Vick over Brady would be wrong.

If anything it's good that Vick is in the discussion. The more pressure there is on Tom to perform, the better he is

Vick, locked up come back player of the year... but Brady, did set the record last night for most pass att with out a INT and he's team is 12-2 and can lock up home field next week Brady, still gets it IMO

LIke many others have said here, I'm sure Brady's focus is winning a SB, not an MVP..

But just to voice my opinion.. Vick has had a great year.. He's taken the team to the next level.. no question.. without his second half play yesterday, Jackson would have never had the chance to win the game for them. It was a great team effort by the Eagles and I hope we meet them in the SB.

We all thirst for a good comeback story, and he's filling that quench.. But when I look at stats, ITS BRADY ALL THE WAY.. Brady has more yards (passing/running), more TD's, less int.. Plus Brady has fumbled 3 times.. Vick, 9.. Pats are 12-2, Eagles are 10-4.. Brady's played all games, Vick hasn't..

well nobody cares now, but if vick somehow becomes co mvp or wins it over brady there will be alot of complaining by people here that he did not win it... i

Both got bailed out by their explosive returnmen. I call it even.

guess you didn't see the Giants game and what Vick did yesterday. Agree that the return tipped the W to the Eagles but the score was tied. Had it gone to OT, Eagles would have surely won because the Gints had no idea how to control Vick in the last 10 minutes.

I believe Vick took more votes yesterday for the MVP.

not that i care , and i still think Brady should still win it.... but with the comeback against the giants and the avg game Brady had , would that hurt him tonight??? i dont want him to share it with vick , nor do i want him to win it with him... Brady is the mvp , bar none, but what do others think..
Probably. Good thing they don't vote today.

He leads the NFL in TDs, QB rating, TD/INT ratio, PPG, Wins etc.

3,500 yards and a 66% etc.

He has the Bills and Dolphins, lets be serious he could throw 6 against BUF and 3 against MIA and finish at like 40TDs - 5INTs.

I'm as big a Tom Brady fan as anyone, and believe he deserves the award. That being said, playing devil's advocate, Vick has played incredibly well, is second in QB Rating, second in least INT's, AND leads his team in rushing and has 8 rushing TD's. He has over 600 yards rushing. By seasons end, he could wind up with 750+ yards rushing, 10 rushing TD's and over 100 QB rating. Pretty impressive stats. Still believe, if Tom leads the league in TD's, least INT's, QB rating, and winds up around 4000 yards, which he should, he deserves it.
