Well, the Pats only scored 24 points on offense vs. the Packers, 10 points on offense vs. the Dolphins, and 32 points vs. the Steelers. But even so, other than the Dolphins, it is still well above the average.

Original post doesn't say anything about the offense specifically

Says the top 7 defenses. Last time I checked our defense and special teams don't play other teams' defenses. ;)

Also we had interception returns, kickoff returns etc against the Dolphins, so the Offense lost alot of snaps and when you're 30 points up, you're not going to be trying as hard to score.

Also interesting -- if Indy holds off the Jags and SD catches the Chiefs, the Patriots will have beaten all 5 of the other playoff teams from the AFC. That has to be somewhat unusual.

I hope that neither Indy nor SD makes it. But in case they do, I find this interesting.

I think the Pats scored 20 offensive points VS Fins. 2 TD's and 2 FG's. Sorry, I see that CTpatsfan77 already corrected the poster.

Remarkably, in 2007, the Patriots played six teams that made the playoffs (the other three division winners, plus three teams in the NFC East).
