Let's hear it for the only Offensive Lineman in the history of the NFL to return a kickoff 71 yards!

I wish he scored. That would have been ridiculous.

Heck, it already was ridiculous.

But in all seriousness, where would we be without that play? The way the offense was mis-firing, we probably don't score at the end of the half. Heck, we almost didn't score even from the 5 yard line.

That was a huge play in the game. It was funny, yes. But I'm not sure we win without it.

Hope the head injury isn't a concussion and he's okay to play next week.

I get ecstatic when a WR returns a kick for big yardage, but an OG? That was great. If he had only took it back for a TD. Wow.

You know that hallway where the team puts up a highlight photo from every win? Please, oh please let it be the immortal Connolly stiff-arm.

yeah.... this was a yearly highlight for me. Watching him lumber down the field, stiff-arming and then powering his way to the 4? Magnificent. Set the tone for the second half, and keeping with this year's attitude about someone, anyone, making a play!

Great to watch, and I can't wait to see it on the highlight reels!

Where would we be without Dan all year. He has performed exceptionally this entire season.

That was awesome. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that in my life.

It can at least be the highlight photo at the top of the forum home page.

You'd be hard pressed to find anybody in the league who's done a better job as left guard, right guard, fullback and kick returner.

Me too. I was screaming out loud and my youngest came in to ask if I was okay! One of the highlights of this year, and maybe this decade. Right up there with Gronk dragging a defender into the endzone with him. :)

Dan, Dan the Baker's Man
RUN THAT KICK BACK FAST AS YOU CAN!

CARRY THAT BREAD LOAF! GOOOOOOOOO!!

Lol, I think that would be true all time.

Personally, I was laughing like mad and my husband wanted to know how a football game had suddenly gotten that funny.

I don't think it was funny. I believe it was awe inspiring. Any other lineman would just catch and sit on it. This play shows the no holds barred, everyone can and will contribute in anyway they can..

Kudos Mr. Connolly. You the MAN!!!

 We thought Troy Brown was versatile...

That was sort of my response. Just substitute a "Booyeah! for the laughing!

Connolly is now a lock as our starting KR guy. Tate now needs to show him who's boss with another KR TD next week.;)

I was explaining how a horrible call it was against McCourty to my wife and missed it.

Great run Dan :rocker: I'll just have to see a replay, get well soon.
