Packers (8-5) at Patriots (11-2) Revenge for SB XXXI

Jets (9-4) at Steelers (10-3) Win the division first then we can worry about #1 seed vs #2 seed next week. We have tiebreaker over the Steelers, so any combo of 3 NE wins/Steelers losses gets us ahead of them. With a Pats win and a Steelers win we clinch the division. If the Jets win we don't have hat and tee-shirt day at home.

Broncos (3-10) at Raiders (6-7) first round pick

Cardinals (4-9) at Panthers (1-12), second round pick.

Bears (9-4) at Vikings (5-8), 3rd round pick

Saints (10-3) at Ravens (9-4), 6th round pick

49ers (5-8) at Chargers (7-6), Chargers have a comfortable lead over our first round pick. 49rs win helps with both 1st round and 3rd round.

Bills (3-10) at Dolphins (7-6) - mixed feels here. I don't think the Bills can catch Oakland or Vikings or fall behind Carolina. So that doesn't matter much. And in my heart I would love for Dolphins to steal a wildcard spot from Jets. The would most likely benifit more from a Bills win. But in my heart I am going Dolphins. So I am leaving this one blank.

Browns (5-8) at Bengals (2-11), Browns ain't catching Oakland, but their win might help with the Vikings pick. But I really want to see the second of BB's coaching tree fired this year.

Chiefs (8-5) at Rams (6-7), take the lead from the Raiders.

Eagles (9-4) at Giants (9-4), The folks who hate Santa or the folks who beat us in the SB. I don't care.

Falcons (11-2) at Seahawks (6-7), get ahead of Oakland

Jaguars (8-5) at Colts (7-6), Peyton in the snow doesn't scare me and I want someone to steal a WC spot from the Jest. But I won't be too disapointed to see Peyton throw 8 ints either.

Lions (3-10) at Buccaneers (8-5), Maybe the lions can get ahead of Vikings.

Redskins (5-8) at Cowboys (4-9), Maybe the Redskins can pass Oakland.

Texans (5-8) at Titans (5-8), records are the same. I want to see another rambling randy pc.

I feel ya... Only conclusion I would quibble with is Chief's...rather have them win (and see 3 from the BB GM'ing tree take divisions) and keep SD from winning the division. Let them crawl in as a WC if they must. Even if they win out they can't unless someone else drops at least a couple...and the JETS could yet manage to do that.

Jets (9-4) at Steelers (10-3)
Agree. Would much rather see the Steelers as the #2 seed than the Ravens.

Broncos (3-10) at Raiders (6-7) first round pick
If all other games play out as expected, this game is likely worth about 5 draft spots. On the value chart, about 250 points or a high 3rd round pick. This weekend, we are all Broncos!

Cardinals (4-9) at Panthers (1-12), second round pick.
As an added bonus, the Cards have an outside shot at getting to 6 wins and possibly having a SOS higher than the Raiders. I'm reaching but tis the season for hope.

Bears (9-4) at Vikings (5-8), 3rd round pick
Have to break ranks with you here. Any team with a possibility of passing the Raiders (and not threatening the Pats playoff success) gets the nod.

Saints (10-3) at Ravens (9-4), 6th round pick
Sorry, the Pats smoked the Steelers in Pittsburgh and squeaked by the Ravens in Foxboro. We want the Ravens as a low seed having to win 2 on the road before reaching the Pats.

Browns (5-8) at Bengals (2-11)
BLASPHEMER! Colt and Peyton (as icky as that sounds) will deliver the Browns to a better record than the Faiders.

I'll post my slate later, but I found a combination of games that would bring the OAK pick up from #15 to #11. :)

oakland over bronocs for me.

i need the whole decemeber and chargers making playoff end. I really do not care of a high pick. if we get a midlevel #1 i am fine as BB will pick instead of trading and getting more picks.

we have so much talent now that if 3-4 rookies next will make the team so i am not really concerned about number of top picks.
people forget when ty and leigh come back this team will be too muddy to add 5-6 rookies.

Jax, i'd love it if they knock Indy out. poor peytee

Bingo!! You got Bingo!!! Don't want to see Manning again or SD. Jax clinches their division if they beat the Colts Sunday. Don't need any help. Colts would have to be wild-card. Unlikely, unless Jets lose out. Would you rather see Mark Sanchez or Peyton Manning? Does that question really have to be answered.

Exactly. Would much rather have Patriots West win. :)

It pains me to hope for the Steelers to beat the Jets sunday, but if it results in more misery for the Jets, I'm all for it!

Cardinals > Panthers is a win-win; besides the Carolina draft pick, an Arizona win moves them closer to Minnesota and Oakland.

Broncos > Raiders: same as above.

I would say Browns > Bengals because a win by Cleveland could put them in a tie with Oakland at 6-8 and put them one game ahead of the Vikings.

Some of the others you could make a case either way. SF wins they catch up to Oakland, but if SD wins they stay ahead of Oakland. Ravens you could root to lose and hope another team not as good makes the playoffs instead; it's easy to root against Suggs and company. Jacksonville wins it helps knock the Colts out of the playoffs; Indy wins it might help knock the Jets out - plus both teams still have better records than Oakland.

There's a lot of these 6-7, 5-8, even 4-9 teams that could finish well and make that Oakland pick better.

Packers (8-5) at Patriots (11-2) - The obvious choice.

Broncos (3-10) at Raiders (6-7) first round pick

Cardinals (4-9) at Panthers (1-12), second round pick.

Bears (9-4) at Vikings (5-8), 3rd round pick

Saints (10-3) at Ravens (9-4) - Screw the Dirty Birds. Geaux Saints.

49ers (5-8) at Chargers (7-6) - Rooting for a Chargers loss and a Chiefs win.

Bills (3-10) at Dolphins (7-6) - Don't care. May the best team win.

Browns (5-8) at Bengals (2-11) - Like you, I would LOL at Mangini getting fired again (though I doubt he will).

Chiefs (8-5) at Rams (6-7) - Let the Chiefs win the West.

Eagles (9-4) at Giants (9-4) - Don't like the Eagles. Don't like Vick. If we get into the big game, I want the Giants to meet us there. Go Giants.

Falcons (11-2) at Seahawks (6-7) - Dimitroff > Carroll.

Jaguars (8-5) at Colts (7-6) - I like the Jags. It would be doubly good to see the Colts season officially end.

Lions (3-10) at Buccaneers (8-5) - Lady friend is a Bucs fan and I wouldn't mind getting laid on Sunday night.

Redskins (5-8) at Cowboys (4-9) - Maybe the Redskins can pass Oakland.

Texans (5-8) at Titans (5-8) - Don't like the dirty Tits.

If you hate the Jets.....

NY Jets clinch a playoff spot:

1) NYJ win + MIA loss or tie + IND loss or tie + KC loss
2) NYJ win + MIA loss or tie + IND loss or tie + SD loss or tie
3) NYJ tie + MIA loss + IND loss or tie + SD loss

So you would go Pitt/Mia/Indy/KC/SD.

Bumping for tonite's game.

I'm having trouble figuring out which AFC teams are the lesser of evils - and therefore which I want to populate the remaining spots up for grabs.

In terms of rooting interest:

- Jax over Indy for AFCS is a no brainer.
- KC and Cassel over SD for AFCW is a no brainer.
- Ravens are going to get one of the Wild Cards.

Which leaves one spot up to the Jets, Colts, Chargers or Phins. Considering I hate all those teams pretty strongly, not sure who to aim for. Obviously the Phins seem like the lesser of the teams, but they aren't beating us in Week 17, so they are likely out.

BUMP. I'll be rooting against the Colts and the Raiders, for sure...

I'm rooting for any team with a 5-8, 6-7, and 7-6 record to win and Oakland to lose so our first round pick goes higher.

I was thinking along the same lines. As much as I'd like to see the Vikings lose, they have a chance to overtake Oakland. A lower first is better then a lower third.

They have no chance to beat the Bears
