Maybe they can't make it?

Or the snow will cause alot of problems :)

Are there usually this many? Wow. This probably sounds dumb but, this game will sell out right?

I dont think there has been a game this season with even 200+ let alone 300...i usually check a few times a week

If they're on ticket exchange they have already been sold.....the STH just doesn't want them.

Christmas week is probably part of it.

I'm really surprised. Last year there were a bunch of games like that (including the Ravens playoff game), but the ticket market this year has been really strong. I've posted tickets for sale twice this year and both times there were 0 available when I posted and my tix were purchased within 30 seconds of me posting them.

Ah ok, does the amount usually increase a lot before games? Was looking at going to the dolphins game on the 2nd.

Not really, this is a bad site to wait till the last minute because there are usually not many tickets available.

Just speculation, but I think if we win the next two and the Dolphins game is "meaningless" it could be a buyers market.

But if you see tickets now and you know want to go, might as well buy, the price isn't going to fluctuate. (Unless only expensive seats are for sale and you are looking to wait for seats in the cheaper sections)

The news of a potential foot of snow is just hitting today, look for more tickets available closer to gametime if the storm track doesn't change. Anyone coming a significant distance (eg western Mass, New Hampshire, Maine) does not want to get home from the game at 5AM.

800 available now. Did I miss the news that a blizzard is expected or something?

Eh, two lousy teams with nothing to play for, lousy offenses and defenses, I wouldn't want to go either....

:D

Weather and it's right before a holiday week.

Late game
+no Rogers
+playoff spot locked up
+inclimate weather
=lots of Season ticketholders trying to make money instead of going to games.

I'd agree, and say that with the economy the way it is, and being the week before Christmas, I would seriously consider selling my tix too. Being that the price of heating oil is almost $3 a gallon, I'd have to consider that being warm versus seeing the game would be my choice.

It kills me to say that, being a fan for almost 40 years, but at least for me, shelter, food and warmth are the top 3 on my list. I can still see the game on TV, though I'd prefer to see it live at the stadium.

They're already sold. These are people who can't or don't want to use the tickets, maybe because they're traveling or because they want a little extra holiday cash or maybe because they read the weather forecast and don't want to sit or drive in the snow.

Weather games are usually a younger crowd it seems, but its certainly a "little" more rowdy. Probably because the season ticket holders dont want to go to these games, and they end up either throwing the tickets to someone they know or sell them.
