Tannenbaum's prepping him on what to say and what not to say in regards to what he knew about Alosi and the wall. Probably a smart idea by Tanny since Rex does not have a tendency to think about what he is saying before he speaks. It looks like he's already been caught in one lie (said he didn't see or know about the wall); a presser like this could easily catch him in more lies if he's not prepared with canned answers and an idea of what he'll be asked.

I never thought the "lineup" was an organized plan. It appears now that it was a pre-organized lineup.

That makes it an Team crime.

Time to impose a penalty appropriate to the act that could have ruined a career.

The Pats paid with a penalty of a First round Draft pick and a fine of $750,000 on the Team, and fines on the Coaches, too.

This is far more serious, as it could have ruined an athlete's career.
The other spy-gate "crime", was imposed for merely filming in an unauthorized portion of the field. The filming would have been legal if moved elsewhere in the field. And it hurt no player.

Hit them equally, only harder, for the worse offense, Commish Goodell !!
