This has happened for years. They have a problem admitting their
QB play and overall offensive talent just hasnt been that good. For years they blamed Hackett, then Hermindeger, now Schottenhiemer. They think its schottenheimers playcalling that makes Sanchez inacurate and make dumb decisions. Just thunk its funny.

They need to place the blame where it belongs on the QB

Did Schotty sign a five-year, $50 million contract, $28 million of it guaranteed?

The Schottenheimers= Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL. No Respect!

Every fan base does this.

NFL.com news: Pats' ability to adapt to elements, opponent makes them the best

How many emails will I get now when I am critical of Mark Sanchez and his lack of accuracy? He must be in a simple-read, play-action offense, and when teams play Cover 1 against him and dare him to make tight throws, he struggles. I wrote this last week, but right now, the Jets are not as good as they were late last year.

We have had eleventy zillion threads over the years blaming the OC when we lose or barely win. Maybe 2 or 3 threads over the years giving the OC credit.

There's a little *** in all of us.

Mod edit.;)

why are Pats fans so obsessed with Jest fans?

OCs always get disproportional blame when things go badly. Always. And when things go well, they'll often -- not always -- get disproportional credit. (See: McDaniels, Josh.)

I think it's just easier for fans to grasp the idea of offensive playcalling vs. defensive. And it's much, much easier to see an ill-advised play and blame the OC than to know whether the QB could/should have checked out of it based on the defensive set, etc.

Some Homers are terrible. Some of us even complained about McDaniels.

The same reason why this forum overwhelmingly blamed O'Brien after every loss in '09 and threw him under the bus after the Jets game.

Not only do they want Schotty's head on a platter, but many of them want Josh McDaniels to replace him. I guess cheaters are ok when they are on the J.E.T.S. JETS, JETS, JETS. As evident by this weekends events.

While we may at times be guilty of this, the difference is that Jets fans parasitic rat ba$tard lobotomized weasels from hell.
Want proof of this?
Just look at the pitcure of Fireman Ed with just under a minute to go in their game against Miami yesterday!
I rest my case!
