BSMW's "Who Ordered The Jets Sideline Wall?"

PFT already brought this up earlier today. But it is always good to see it gain some momentum.

That is among the dirtiest things I've seen on a football field, and it is by far the dirtiest thing I have ever seen a coach do.

Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with green jackets. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Tannenbaum? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Sanchez, and you curse the Jets. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know.... You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall.

well done piece

:rofl::rofl:

I wrote this last night and said that this trainer took his assignment too literally.

So, Jets strength coach Sal Alosi and his cronies (practice squad players?) were standing the zone marked for “Coaches and substitution players only”

Seems to me we need the identities of these cronies. If they are not coaches or sub players, they should not be there. If they are all coaches, then that was 5 coaches lined up there for the kill shot?

"Colonel Jessup, DID YOU ORDER THE COACH'S PHALANX?"

"You can't handle the truth!"

Some of them are reportedly practice squad players. The one next to Alosi could be, not sure, but could be Crable.

Ah, you beat me to the punch! I made a reply referencing that same movie that I posted before seeing your post. I tip my cap to you, goodsir! :rocker:

P.S. Best line:  You, Lt. Tannenbaum?

They were obviously there to interfere with the gunner going out of bounds.. if they were there for the hell of it, dont you think they would attempt to avoid him instead purposely hitting him?

Brian Billick just pointed out on the Coaches Show on the NFL Network that the line of green jackets should have been lined up several feet further back from where they were and that there's more to the story than what's come out so far. He thinks there's "some gamesmanship going on here that will come into question for the Jets"

It is perfectly obvious that the recognized that this pfin kept going out of bounds and they were told by higher-ups to get in line there and get in the way if they could. This goes higher up and this guy is willing to take a dive 2x.
You will see before I said this was no big deal but I have now changed my mind as this is obviously a downward directed strategy from the Jets management not just a guy caught up in the moment as I had thought.

Can you imagine the uproar if the "Cheatriots" had pulled this crap? The Empire State Programming Network (ESPN) would have Sal P. and the rest of his meathead friends on the field re-enacting this.

If they were using PS player for this it will come out. Maybe not this week, but by training camp next year. And if the Jets attempt a cover up. Godell will have to come down extremely strong.

Hey, anyone know any senators? ;)
